My name is Tyler and I'm from Dallas, Texas. I've been a member here for ten years now, so this thread has evolved over the years. I usually keep an updated WITB on the first post for anyone that is interested.

Any questions, comments, or feedback is appreciated!

TaylorMade M2 - Project X HZRDUS Black 5.5 - Golf Pride Tour Velvet

I had been playing an Adams Speedline F12 LS for the past 5 seasons. I usually give one new driver a shot every year, but none had made it longer than a week. We're on week 2 with this one, so there's that.

TaylorMade M2 16.5º - Project X HZRDUS Black 5.5 - Golf Pride Tour Velvet

After playing the majority of 2017 without a fairway wood due to inconsistency, I picked up this "HL" model. I'm hoping it makes shots off the deck a little more manageable. So far so good.

Mizuno JPX 900 19º - Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana S+ Blue - Golf Pride Tour Velvet

I had been playing a 915 H since late 2014 and wanted to try something new, so I grabbed this one. Mizuno hadn't ever impressed me much in the hybrid category, but that changed with this one. I'm really looking forward to trying the new CLK though.

Mizuno JPX 850 Forged (4) - Aerotech Steelfiber i95 - Golf Pride Tour Velvet
Mizuno JPX 850 Forged   - Project X 5.5 - Golf Pride Tour Velvet

I made a switch these irons earlier last summer from a set of 714 CB's and have had amazing results. The combination of the stronger lofts and forgiveness have made the game very fun. I do find that my distance control can be a little on the long side though, but so far that's my only knock against them. I tested the 900 Forged and do like the cavity aesthetics more, but I didn't notice any increased performance that would make me break the bank. I think I am just going to save up and see if the next cycle has some improvements worth paying for. I had a graphite shaft installed in my 4 iron to make it a driving iron type club and a little more friendly off of longer Par 3's.

Machine M10 Fixer Longneck (33", 350G, 2º, Copper badge)

In 2015 I decided I wanted to have a custom flatstick built just for me based on my results from a SAM fitting. I decided to contact Dave at Machine after some research and being a longtime fan of the photo thread here on WRX. I was scheduled in very quickly and the process began. I brought my longtime gamer in and measured results and Dave began putting together models based on my results. The cool part about Machine is the interchangeable hosel/head design that let us test various weights, hosel placements, and head designs. The results showed that I had a slight arc to my stroke and would benefit from something with little to no toe hang, so the longneck was put it. I also have an eye condition in my right eye that causes me to be "left eye" dominant despite being right handed, so Dave minimized the amount of offset in the hosel to compensate for that and allow my aim to be more consistent. My current gamer weighed in around 335 grams and caused me to have a bit of a glitchy takeaway and we tested different head weights and landed at 350 grams. My current gamer also had way too much loft for me stroke (4º) and SAM showed us that my initial roll worked best at around 2º. I went the "Spieth" route and had the alignment aid on the topline as it was easier to center the ball to the putter that way. And last but not least, the current gamer I kept mentioning was a BeCu B60 and was my first putter. I wanted a fairly basic putter, but decided to have my Machine cavity badge made from copper as a tribute to my gamer. The end product is below.

Like the wedges very much. I haven't done a paintfill on my clubs in a while. This has inspired me to get my new ones done this weekend.

Glad I could inspire someone! Just try and stay away from Celtics green...kidding. I actually think green and white would look pretty nice.

I get that a lot. No one really expects it when they see my bag and I take the headcover off. I like Titleist, but if something is better, I'll surely put it in my bag  :good:

Love the CB's. Just purchased some myself. Great clubs. More forgiveness than you think. So satisfying when you hit them solid.

I really like that cover. They have a newer version now that I might be pushing for on my birthday this year. They're a little pricey though!

That's my favorite cover Scotty has had in a while. I don't really collect them or anything, I'll just buy one I like every once in a while.

Haha, that's awesome. I'm liking your name too :good:  I'm working on the driver..maybe a 905R in my future.

Also, after 4 years of my 735's, I decided that it was time for a combo set of 712's. I'll put some new pics up when they come in.

I'm taking my 905R out tomorrow...didn't get along with the D2 today...we'll see.  But, Titleist is losing traction in my bag!  I don't like it but I have to what I have to do.

Let me know how it goes! Titleist equipment in general, or just the driver spot is losing traction? I haven't ever been a huge fan of their drivers.

I've had it for a pretty long time, and I still like it. After my 910 D2 experiment failed, I went back to it. I was in the golf shop on my lunch break today and picked up a Speedline F12 LS with a Fubuki off the used rack. We'll see if it can knock the Ping out. I didn't get any new clubs for about three years, and now the only thing that's the same as last season are my wedges and putter  :fool:

You're so lucky! I actually graduated from Stephen F. Austin last year and moved back to Texarkana where my family is. I still make it to two or three games a season though. I'm anxious to see if this youth movement we made this year works out. It was tough seeing Jet go, and then the Williams signing didn't pan out. MFFL though!

The bag is ok but I LOVE your avatar. Been a season ticket holder for 25 years.

Can you believe all this rain for a day in Sept.?

You're so lucky! I actually graduated from Stephen F. Austin last year and moved back to Texarkana where my family is. I still make it to two or three games a season though. I'm anxious to see if this youth movement we made this year works out. It was tough seeing Jet go, and then the Williams signing didn't pan out. MFFL though!
we might have to meet up in Shreveport. I'm in Monroe. We have friends who live off of state line road in Texarkana
