After ho'ing it up for the last year and a half, I figured I would delete my old WITB topic and start a new one fresh.   My old WITB had over 14k views though, which was pretty cool.   I have committed to keeping my bag unchanged for the 2012 season, as we all probably promise do each and every spring.     However, we are having our first baby due in the beginning of May, so, this time it might actually happen.   I have played and tried everything that has been out there over the last 2 years and couldn’t be happier with the mix that I have now.   I am a 7 hcp currently so I am hoping that this will get down some this year.

Titleist 910 D2 w/ OBAN Devotion 6
Titleist 909F2 15.5* w/ Rombax W 6w06
TaylorMade Rescue 2011 18* w/ RIP
TaylorMade Rescue 2011 21* w/ RIP
Titleist 712 AP1's w/ KBS Tour
Titleist Vokey Oil Can 52*
Titleist Vokey Oil Can 56*
Titleist Vokey Oil Can 60*
Scotty Cameron Fastback 1.5 w/ 2012 SC Pistolero Grip

I had my putter done at the end of the year last year by the SC Custom Shop and I put the new grip on it for this year.   Love that putter.   The 712 AP1’s w/ the KBS shafts and GP grips are the best irons I have ever hit or played by far, including all forged.   My favorite club in the bag right now is the D2 w/ the Oban shaft.   For those who play, or have played an Oban, you know why.   The 909 fairway w/ the Rombax is a bomber.   It was longer on the launch monitor for me than the stock stiff RBZ, by far.   Lastly, the 2011 TM hybrids are the most versatile and best around right now by far IMHO and I haven't found anything more reliable yet.

Well, let me know what you think or any other feedback.

Thanks man. I appreciate it.

The Rombax W is ridiculous. I love the launch I get w/ this shaft. And it feels super solid. With this shaft, I think I have found "The One" as far as fairways are concerned.

I grabbed the Pistolero from a local custom shop here in RI. Best putter grip around.

True enough about the obans. I had the devotion but it launched too low for me. I put the kiyoshi in my R11 and it is a bomber. The most underrated shaft they have is the revenge though. I have it in my fairway and it is by far the best fairway I have ever played.

Great looking sticks. If you ever make it up to MA to play let me know, always up for meeting a fellow wrx'er. Good luck this year and congrats on the new addition to the family

So I have heard. That's why I was eager to get the bag set before the baby is born. I bought a few RBZ clubs, a R11s, and some i20 irons this year before I finally settled on this setup, and sold off the other stuff.

Cool bag Man. I wonder how that OBAN stacks up against the Whiteboard in flight spin?  4 years ago when the original ap1 came out i bought a brand new set and i loved them. They felt awesome and give you so much confidence. At the end of the day its all about what you like, regardless if playing a blade or a CB if your 5 foot from a pin is all that matters!

Could not have said it better myself. The AP2 712s felt very nice as well. But, my mind's eye just took better to the AP1.

70 degrees all week in RI. Put the Srixon QStar Tour Yellows in play. They are great. I will most definitely be playing them all year.

By far the best setup I have ever hit. I have ho'd just about everything too. I grabbed it from my buddy who has about 10 drivers and it is a true bomber. I went from hitting about 69% of fairways last season to 81% thus far this year.
