After ho'ing it up for the last year and a half, I figured I would delete my old WITB topic and start a new one fresh. My old WITB had over 14k views though, which was pretty cool. I have committed to keeping my bag unchanged for the 2012 season, as we all probably promise do each and every spring. However, we are having our first baby due in the beginning of May, so, this time it might actually happen. I have played and tried everything that has been out there over the last 2 years and couldn’t be happier with the mix that I have now. I am a 7 hcp currently so I am hoping that this will get down some this year.
I had my putter done at the end of the year last year by the SC Custom Shop and I put the new grip on it for this year. Love that putter. The 712 AP1’s w/ the KBS shafts and GP grips are the best irons I have ever hit or played by far, including all forged. My favorite club in the bag right now is the D2 w/ the Oban shaft. For those who play, or have played an Oban, you know why. The 909 fairway w/ the Rombax is a bomber. It was longer on the launch monitor for me than the stock stiff RBZ, by far. Lastly, the 2011 TM hybrids are the most versatile and best around right now by far IMHO and I haven't found anything more reliable yet.
Well, let me know what you think or any other feedback.
