Whoa.  That is SUPER intense.  You get the prize, my friend.  I'd be tempting to buy stuff every day.

I sometimes have to delete the Golfwrx bookmark to avoid the temptation.

I've bought 12 drivers since I started reading this 3 page thread ;)

In all seriousness, I'm not just a club ho, I'm a str8t up complete golf ho.

This is what I have bought in the last 3 weeks, and keep in mind I have nice stuff and don't need any of it:

New Set of Cobra Amp Irons (have R9 and CG16s at home)
5 pair of golf pants
2 belts
2 pair of shorts
8 golf shirts
pair of golf shoes
Pair of rain pants
4 golf gloves
pair of rain gloves

Last couple of nights I've had trouble sleeping because I keep thinking about the trade-in value of some of my old stuff, and what new stuff I'm going to get, and no, I'm not kidding.

Oh yah, did I mention I came home on my lunch today to make sure I intercepted the shoes because my wife gets home before me after work!

This thread will make my home life living much more bearable. The more picture the better. I showed this to the girlfriend because she is sick of all the boxes. I also thought I was buying to much at one point, but thanks to the wonderful ho's of the WRX,  I feel much better about it.  I could definitely see a golf ho on the next episode of Hoarders.

I am about to have 3 of the same driver heads in my possession and have not hit any of them yet. Worst thing is...the I20 has me tempted and I may just sell them all before a test run. The struggles are immense.

Does golf shoes count?  I'm looking at 25 pair as I'm typing this.  I'm sure there's at lest another 10 or so in the closet.  If I see a pair on sale that I like, it's on!  :partytime2:

I always thought that I was just a 'tinkerer' until I came on this site and now I realise what its really called. I buy shafts heads, gloves, shoes, different balls to what i hit just to 'test' them anything golf related..the last 5 days have  been full on but. I tested some different branded blades over the weekend and since then Ive bought a single old titleist 6 iron just to see if i liked the feel then without really thinking I bought a set of Mizuno Pro super 11's 3-pw, and before either of them arrived i some how bought myself a one hit wonder set of Taylormade MB's 3-pw for less than half price new plus they're setup exactly as I want them. It has to stop but I know it just cant stop. Unfortunately my wife sold my 2 old bags because now I need another place to store the 3+ spare sets of clubs because i just cant fit anymore in my locker at the course.... ok ebay here i come i need a new carry bag...

work hard, try my best to do right, don't look at others than my wife....

I think more that a few dozen putters and 4 to 6 sets of clubs are my worst of behavior I am ok,   everyone club ho away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And, bring out the hammer on each par 4 and 5!!!!

I cracked open a box with a brand new R11 in it only to take pictures to resell it 3 hours after receiving it.

I've presold or traded items that were in transit to me.  Test 15 drivers last year against the best driver I've played in years.  This year I haven't hit a single ball yet and I've got 5 drivers, two sets of irons, two 3 woods, two wedges, some new shoes, a couple shafts, plenty of pants and polos, and let's not talk about the club repair stuff.

Just placed an order for a custom putter cause I haven't bought anything in 28 hours.  Plus my wife won't let me game her C&L which has been on display for 4 years.

I buy stuff and don't even hit it only to resell it.

You guys with all the sets of clubs and putters are hoarders, not ho's!!!!  HAHA!!!!

I'm a ho, I buy and sell.  I keep about 4 boxes max in my garage.  I have a First In First Out inventory policy.

Joeypole's post made me think.

I just bought a 12 degree driver to test out something I read about in another thread.
I had my putter regripped, and it's still weeks before snow melts away enough that I'll get to play.
I bought a brand new wedge a few weeks ago, and had it regripped the day it arrived.
I kept the box it came in, just in case.
I'm having my current gamer driver regripped.
I bought a windshirt, shorts, polos and pants over the winter.
Half of my Xmas gifts were golf related, those received and those given.
I'm busy comparing shoes and GPS units for spring purchases.

WOW!   So if you don't even try it out...why make the purchase unless your are flipping it for a profit which in my experience is VERY difficult?   Impulse buy?  Excitement in the actual purchase, but not the actual ownership?  I know there is a pyschological joy for some people to make a purchase (or finding a deal) on products they never intend to keep or use.

My own experience is I have found that the joy is in the wanting and waiting, but man...you take it to another level!!

Oh...on your definition of ho's...to me a ho is someone who gets around.   My golf game is definitely like the village bicycle...every set of clubs gets a ride.     It sounds like your behavior is like a tease...you get these items as if you would use them, but end up selling them off without giving them the time of day...LOL!

On the subject of selling used equipment, I've gotten to the point of not trying to sell on here or ebay.  I found a reseller that gives a little higher than trade-in value as a straight purchase.  I've probably lost on a few deals but it keeps product moving!  No low ball offers, no ebay tricks, etc.  BTW, I'm not a ho, I'm a golf escort...  :man_in_love:

I have issues!!!  That is all I can say!!

Ok I'll explain.  Last year I bought 3 R11's all in 9* and hit maybe 12 balls combined with all of them.  Just couldn't beat my gamer as I like 8.5* or lower, yeah I know you can twist the R11 down.  So I got an email out of the blue from a guy who sold me a putter 4 years ago.  4 years for a golf club in my house does not happen.  8 months including the below 50* weather is usually good.  Anyway I still had it.  He wanted it back and offered me a trade I couldn't resist.  I was all set to game it as I have the perfect shaft for it and such.  Fast forward to when the driver is in transit I land a very good deal on an 8* R11 head, which I will more than likely sell after I don't like it.  That and I bought a Tour Issued Superfast 2.0 before the 9* was delivered as well.  Oh well.

I've posted BST listings on the golf course.

Today was day 1 for me swinging on the range and I almost posted my whole bag up for sale tonight and I just got the irons, 3 wood, and one of the drivers.

Yes I do flip stuff, but don't make much money.  I don't buy anything I can't get my money back for tomorrow.  I'm picky and I'll wait for the good deals.  This way I tell my wife I got it on sale.  The one thing I knew I wouldn't get my money back on that I bought last year is my gamer driver which has been in the bag since the beginning of last year.

And Yes to sum it up, I do have problems.  Its a game to me I guess.  I'm not in it for the money, just like testing all the clubs on the market without losing my shirt.

I have everyone beat. I just bought stuff off the BST while in the ER with my 13 month old.

I think that takes the cake.

That and the 3 drivers I've bought in the last 2 days.

Ok I'll expand a little more on last night.

My daughter caught a stomach bug and couldn't keep anything down since the morning.  We were instructed to go to the hospital and get an IV and such.  So I packed wifey's iPad into the diaper bag without her seeing it.  While in the room waiting for a Dr. to come back I found a great set of wedges for sale in the BST.  Boom sold and paid for before the Dr saw my daughter, LOL!!!

Yesterday here is what showed up:
New FJ Icon shoes (wrong size)
R11 8* head
TM 07 burner 14.5* 3 wood

Today so far:
Tour Issued Superfast 2.0

Tomorrow scheduled:
TM 425 TP
3 wedges

Monday:
Another Tour Issued Superfast 2.0

Don't think I have anything else on order, yet.

Now if I could get my boss to put a net up in the warehouse I'll be set.  Highly doubt that.

Does golf shoes count?  I'm looking at 25 pair as I'm typing this.  I'm sure there's at lest another 10 or so in the closet.  If I see a pair on sale that I like, it's on!  :partytime2:
