Last year I bought 3 different r11's.
I don't even know what else to say in this thread. I've owned at least 25 sets of irons in the last 3 years. At least 20 drivers in that time too. I've had my current set of irons for 8 months and it seems like 25 years! I'm keeping them though......for now. LOL!
I wanted to tell the kzg story for you because that is the worst hoing story I know but i thought it would be too rude.
I have had 3 910's and 3 r11 drivers, 2 r11 3 woods the last year, so im just as bad. The other day at the range i picked up one of my buddies drivers and said "this thing is sweet, where did you get it?" and he said "thats your old driver", LOL!
I took back the Kevin burns I gave to my buddy when I switched to the belly b/c he lost the head over and it was clanking around. I told him he could have it back if he bought a head cover and showed it to me. Several months later he did, but unfortunately I had already traded the Kevin burns for another belly putter. My friend wasn't too upset though as I completely retooled him in exchange for him paying my green fees for a weekend 4 round marathon. The funny thing was he haggled with me over taking my 3rd string backups vs my 4th or 5th string backups....
You know Thrillhouse...I had a similar situation happen in mid-Feb. I was recently thinking about my first "nice" putter (other than my initial Kmart purchase) that I bought. It was Prairie Golf (local company) mallet putter. Well...I couldn't remember what I ever did with it.
I was visiting a buddy in Tucson, AZ for the World Match Play Championship...anyway, we had an afternoon to kill, so we went out to play 9 holes. At that moment, I saw the putter in his bag and forgot that I had given it to him. He's not a very good golfer, but I was hoping to share some nicer equipment with him. Sadly, I cringed when I saw him put it in his bag without the headcover clanking against his irons. I had to remind myself that it was his putter now....

So I know this is a bit off topic, but I remember Prairie Golf! We used to carry some of their equipment in our Pro Shop where I grew up. I just looked them up and I can't believe they are still in business.
I think I still have one of their putters. Tough industry to compete in...especially as a small company.

Fixed your post. I think you embedded your write-up into my quote. Good story though!

*I've got 16 pairs of golf shoes[5 are still new and in the box]
*13 drivers
*3 bags
*4 fairway woods
*7 putters
*4 sets of wedges
*15 golf shirts that are still in the plastic
*and 7 sets of clubs
...honestly, at this point, I'm not sure what my wife is aware of and what she isn't. I just need a good box of Calgon and a HUGE tub of water.

But I have really been playing golf for 2 1/2 years.
I just bought my 3rd set of irons. I have had 3 drivers. 2 different fairway woods. 5 different hybrids. I cant tell how many wedges I think I am on my 5th set. At the beginning of this season I bought my 3rd putter. I went from an Odyssey #9 to a Cameron Del Mar.
Edit- Didnt think anything about the fact that I have bought 2 different golf bags and 3 pairs of shoes. I have also bought 15 or so shirts just for golf.

Lucky for me I guess, it saves me a ton of money, but I'd love to hit all the new stuff. So I guess you win and you lose.
