Just got a box of B330 and B330s from our Bridgestone rep. The dual dimple design has really helped me to gain the spin i need around the greens with the B330. The S spins more now too which is pretty nice considering the course i play the greens hold nothing.  These new designs are pretty nice.

Is it me, or am i the only one that does not like these new b330 balls.  Something about the feel of them did not sit well with me.

ok so i used the 330s all of last year, loved them so much i bought 9dozen when they were on offer. In the past have used all the premium balls with preferences for the callaway i series and the z-stars. normally changing a couple of times a season. the last two years has been bridgestone all the the way.

I was given a sleeve of the 2012 b330 by my teaching pro last week and have played 18 with them this week. It has very comparable performance for me to last years b330s apart from it is less durable, i use 2010 Miura cb202's with tough grooves and the 2011 b330 ball would last 18 just about but the new b330 was mashed up after about 14 holes, not just on full wedges either, a sweetly struck 4 iron from the fairway left 4 little marks on the ball - not great. The ball feels good , not like last years b330 rock.

I had good greenside control with the 2012 b330 and i'm sure that the 2012 b330s will be super spinny but personally i don't any more spin as on full wedge shots it can be a little hard to control.

i personally will be sticking with last years b330s, perfect ball for me. and the prices will tumble when the new ones come out.

I'm impressed with the B330. Played it for the first time today and noticed a consistent 5-7 yard gain off the driver along with a straighter ball flight, it spins significantly less then the Pro V1x that I usually game. I think it will be a good ball for this time of year when carry is everything in the northwest but when summer roles around and the greens start to firm up I'll probably have to get something that has more spin around the greens, perhaps the 2012 model of the B330-S or back to the V1x.

2012 B330 is one of the better balls i have tried in the last few years. One of the best in the wind that i have played, and more durable than the prov1x i switched from.

I've been extremely happy with the 2012 RX. The ball is really long for me. Definitely it's been longer than my Black LDP that I've been playing. I like the softer feel too.

I played yesterday in heavy winds and I was SHOCKED at how well this ball did. It was just totally steady, it was like you couldn't even tell the wind was there except that you just needed an extra club or two for distance. I hit a couple 4 irons on par 3s into 20 mph winds that ended up 10 and 15ft from the hole with just perfect descent angle. I'm convinced that the new dimples help with this.

I am not man enough for the B330 or B330S.

With a 99-103 driver SS, I was fitted by the Bridgestone boys using a driver and trackman. Been playing the 2011 RX for the first rounds of this season. They guessed the B330S would be my ball. The RX had much better numbers. It also beat the Z-Star. Then hit the E-6 and it was much better. Trackman said 7+ more yards with better flight. My field tests show even greater difference. Trying the E-6 for a while and seeing if I can get used to the extra roll-out of the E-6. Putts great off my White Ice insert and seems long.

I keep telling myself I'm not used to the 20XI since I am new to it and a nike fan. But I've had the greatest success with these Bstones.  Better ball fight, control, and much better spin control. I'm sure soon they will be the only ball I game.

Does the 2012 B330 say Tour B330 on it while the older models just say B330?

i went through the ball fitting last week at my club and got 5 more yards with less side spin using the b330 vs. the srixon xv's that i currently play.  i have not had a chance to try these out with the wedges yet but i do like the fact that they spin more than last years model according to the previous posts

Golf Galaxy has last year's model marked down to $27.97.  Personally, I don't see a big enough difference to justify paying the new model's premium price so I stocked up on a few dozen of the previous model.
