With Clarke's 5 o'clock shadow and both he and Westwood wearing those shades I'm guessing they had a big night.... A bit of Guiness perhaps?
According to the telecast this past weekend, Westwood has given up the sauce this year while concentrating on his fitness.

They've both halted the drinking for a while.

Is Rory trying new shafts? I see the green 7V05, but I don't believe those other dark two-tone shafts on his bag are what he had before. I thought the 95 in his 3W was just solid black.

I knew Westwood did.  I wasn't aware that Clarke had.

OK..Jesper needs to learn about headcovers.. almost a shame to have clubs that beaten up.. speaking of which.. what's up with that vintage rental club wood in his bag?? Does he bring it with him when he looks for his errant tee-shot... beat off the snakes and gators?...  or... ok .. I'll say... in case he's paired with Tiger?? (too much??)

Whats the deal with the guys standing on towels on the putting green? Is it for hard spikes or something?

My guess is that It's to prevent damage to the green. They probably set up a putting alignment practice spot. Having several players standing in the same spot for hours will badly damage a green in that spot.

NICE!
The lack of Ping pics is really noticeable. Is there that few guys actually playing Ping I wonder?

And does anyone know the point of the head cover under the left arm that Keegan is doing?

There was a piece in Golf Digest or somewhere else - within the past 60 days - with pics of Keegan doing this drill so that he can 'stay connected'..

Yeah, I've heard of putting something under the right arm but not the left. I'm going to have to give that one a try.

Same drill as putting the towel under both arms. To keep your arms and body connected. Justin Rose used to put his shirt under his left arm, to help him do it on the golf course.

Scott McCarron used to do this on every shot.  It's part of his pre-shot routine.

Interesting to see a most of the Nike Staffers going with  the VR_S drivers/fairway woods.  Great clubs, but I guess I wasn't really expecting that.  While Tiger is trying out new fairway woods, I'd like to see him give the VR_S a shot.  Best fairway wood Nike has made in my opinion, and I loved the T60 and SQ2.

Nice pics-thanks for all the hard work getting us pics each week. It is very much appreciated.

In looking at putters such as Piretti and P2G2 do these clubs get any tour use? I checked the websites for both and they are not cheap products-they go from $250 to $300+...just curious if anyone has ever heard of either one used on tour. I saw Machine putters in the pics too and I believe Ryan Moore played one @ one time. (Maybe he still is?)

Lee Westwood"s sunglasses are awesome. I have to check Oakley for what model he is wearing  (cool).

Tucking headcover or towel under left arm worked great 4 me. Really helped 2 tighten my swing & make proper shoulder turn.

What's up with the random Ping club in Ryan moore's bag? It look like i10, thought it 5 iron but couldn't really read it. Would make more sense if it 2 or 3 iron.

I know he loved his ol ping irons,  but thought he played the s59

Is Jesper kidding with that bag? Bro get some head covers and break that putter over your leg. Grow up your a professional
Who are you? Are knocking the Bobby Grace putter in his bag? If you are maybe you ought to get your head out of 1970 and join the real world. I have several of those in my 200+ putter collection and the newest F18 version (a 2012 custom made) will putt you for pinklips and paychecks (if you have any of these).
Didn't your mother teach you that if you don't know what you are talking about don't speak!

Tiger still messing around with the Nike putter.  Like Butch said.....I would walk, no run to the garage and pull out the Scotty.

At least put the Scotty on BST if its gonna sit all day Tiger..........then he could have some member low ball his $10 million price for it.  "Hey bro I'll give you $50, that's all I've got right now"

What is that flinstone era club in parneviks bag??? His stuff has seen better days for sure

Weighted warm-up club.

Greg

Thanks for superb pictures as usual. Who cares if Jesper has forsaken the headcovers as I'm sure all he cares is that his clubs performs for him.

I had forgotten that I had that same weighted club that Jesper has so I dug it out from depths of my garage. It's really heavy and I think I picked mine's up about 20 years or so ago. The one that I have is 50 oz. The label says, JB Golden Touch by Jerry Barber.

Great pictures!

Did not know that Clarke had given up booze for the time being.  Any truth to that?  Think he might be at the age where he's thinking "let's see just how good I can get?" on the back half of the career?  If so, I do admire the dedication, but as I remember, his game actually suffered in the past when he lost weight.  He does look good physically though - both he and Westwood.

Lexi can really play some golf.  That impact position makes me concerned for her back long-term, but her position at the top looks so good.

Bill Belichick seems to get into a decent impact position after a really bad start to the swing.  Is he a decent player?

Rory is lookin stacked these days. I knew he had been training, but not that much.

As for Parnevik's bag, it's kind of refreshing to see such a cluttered, banged up set of clubs in comparison to a lot of the pristine looking bags out there today. Thanks for the pictures.

What I find interesting about these endorsement deals is Mr. Kim lost his bag deal and doesn't have a Nike bag?  He's still a Nike "athlete" from their web-site and all other Nike golfers have their bags, why not Mr. Kim?
