I work at the Cart Barn at Fiddlesticks Country Club and decided to play the "Wee Friendly Course." Playing around 6600 from the tips, its not too short of a golf course and has some long holes. I hit the ball fairly long and played 18 holes and on the 17th hole par 4 301yds I carried the ball to the green and it went passed the hole. I flushed it and hit a beautiful high draw. Chipped up and made a birdie. Finished 18 and then asked my playing partner if he wanted to go back out again. Decided to play the back nine again, got to the 17th hole again. He said "You have to hole it out to win the Masters!" And we both laughed but then I got up and hit it and it was tracking the whole time toward the pin with a nice draw. It hits a mound, rolls on the green, and sort of disappears. I figured it rolled off the green and my playing partner says "Dude that looked good! Has to be like 6 ft!" I didn't think the ball could hold the green on how fast it was coming into the ground. We're driving up to his ball and I say "man I should go back to hit another tee shot so I could make it this time!" Because I hit 2 good drives, with each one getting better. I walk up to the green trying to determine if I need a putter or if I need a wedge and I didn't see it at all. I walk up on the green and still don't see it, and some sort of weird magnetic attraction drew me towards the hole. I walk towards the whole and lean over and see it sitting at the bottom of the cup! I start yelling and ran away from disbelief and my playing partner thought I was faking it but then he saw me pull the ball out and was in shock too. People heard me yelling so loud from their houses about 50 yards from the green and shouted "Did you just get a hole in one?!" and they hollered us over to give us a few beers. We thanked them and got back in the cart and drove off. Saved the ball! Just had to write it down somewhere!!! Haha

I guess I will be the first to congratulate you on here.  Not many will ever have a hole in one let alone one on a par 4!  Congrats.

Send an email to Titleist with all of the details and they will send you a nice little trophy.  I made a double eagle back in January with a ProV1X and I sent them all of the information and in the mail this week came a nice little trophy plaque.

no, no, no way man. everybody on wrx says they hit it 301 but they really hit it 245 max. that par 4 you aced was 228 max, i know because we lasered my groups drives the last time we played and nobody hit it farther than 218, and if we cant do it its a physical impossibility.

JK, awesome ace!

That's awesome...congrats!  I missed a hole in one on a par 4 by about 5 inches one time....but it was during a charity scramble.  Always thought I would have found that bittersweet that it wouldn't have been "official" if I had made it!

Is that true? I got my first Ace with a prov1x and wondering how I am going to showcase it (not that my wife and kids really give a rats a$$). What type of info did you provide?

For an ace I think they do only give a bag tag but I think this qualifies for the trophy like mine since it's on a par 4 (essentially a double eagle).   They asked for Name, date, course, yardage, Titleist ball used, and head pro's name.  All the info is on the Team Titleist web site.
