according to the Titleist website he plays both a 3 and 5 wood, could it be his 3 wood is a new 910 and his 5 wood a 906? some of those photos almost do look like a 909F3 though the the sole plate.

disregard that last post, looks to be a 906 still from the images ive seen. Possibly he just switched shafts is what he was regerring to?

I think this confirms that the 3-wood is the 906 and his 5-wood is likely the 910 (if he indeed has a 910 in the bag).

Dude ! We are not saying it's not a 906.  We are just saying that Rory confirmed playing a new FW.  We all heard it.  He didn't say what model it was or what's different about it.  He just said : Yes I have tested a new FW and put it in play.

He's been playing the 906 since the US Open, sorry I'm a huge rory fanboy and he's been using the 906 for a while, he might have just replaced with with a new 906 most likely since he doesn't change clubs often.

I was at the Match Play on Wednesday and followed Rory for 8 holes. I saw him hit 3 wood on 11 and on 15. I am 100% sure he has the 906 in the bag.

It's a 906. Could be a F4 instead of the F2 he was gaming before. Same shaft Fuji 95Pro.

Could just be a different loft.  I don't know what his loft was on the other 3 wood but this could be a 13* model.

First off DUDE....a few people on here thought the club was a 910 after hearing Faldo's comment including myself....Second, you are playing a word game....my point was and is....the club is 906.......not 910....regardless if the club is NEW or re-shafted.....so stop following me around with what you assume to be your correct answers!!!

Ive rotated between 3 different drivers in 1 tournament sue to change in tee blocks, wind, anticipated pin loactions and such factors. Am very veyr interested to know what one he used on 17 thou

I'm curious to know your outcome in that tournament.  Did you get the desired outcome you were looking for and place well?

Just wanted to see if it's worth trying myself.
