I'm in Iowa and it's been a very mild winter, but I haven't been able to get out because I've been focusing on strengthening the shoulder/pec that I injured disc golfing last year and I don't want to take any chances by going out early.  Golf is a different set of muscles, but this will be my first full season of golf in over 5 years so I didn't want to risk re-injury...I know my gf's Dad has been golfing more or less all winter (he's a single cap member of one of the nice local country clubs) but I'm starting to itch..I've been hitting at the stores the last couple weeks trying to make my new bag decisions.  Bring on the 60s weather!!!

Best winter weather we've ever had (so far) in Cleveland OH area.  I haven't been able to take advantage of it yet, but going to visit clients in Rancho Mirage in two weeks.  The clubs are going with me.

I live in Chicago... If it didn't snow this past Thursday I would be playing tomorrow. Probably another 2 weeks until I get out. I just checked the 7 day forecast and it doesn't look promising.

I'll hopefully be golfing around Comox in about a week though.

I am fortunate to live in New Mexico where we have lots of sunshine and pretty mild winters.  I drive a mile south to Albuquerque where the avg. winter days are ~40-50 degrees F.  Friday it was ~52 with a very mild breeze and it was very nice.  The greens actually rolled pretty well and the course is starting to green up.  I had a great day with 3 birdies and a double.  I mention the double as I shot 3 over in spite of that.  The course plays 7,150 yds at 5000 ft elevation with a 72.9 rating and 128 slope.  Also, Phoenix is only an hour flight and I played 36 holes per day for 2 days a couple of weeks ago.  The temps were in the mid 70s and the courses were beautifully green and near perfect.  I am planning a trip in 2 weeks there to see the LPGA and get in a couple of rounds.  :partytime2:

It was almost spring yesterday here in Southern Ohio...the bank thermo read 68 on my drive home from work, but it was short-lived apparently.  Back to very brisk today, and the 10 day on TWC doesn't look very promising for the next couple of weekends.  But spring's bound to get here soon.

Just outside Philadelphia in the burbs here. Played about 7 times since Jan 1. A real bonus for us here given the mild winter. Its really just a tease though. knocking off the rust one day @ 60 degrees, all amped up and *bang* - a week in the 30's. heading to myrtle next week and then to Kingsmill 2 weeks after. Cant wait!!

Montreal suburbs. -9 right now, but it will be +8 and +9 wednesday and thursday, then goes down to -1 and goes back over 0 with a +5 on sunday... (that's celsius)

I should be able to go to the range this month. Playing will be out of the question for another month, but I can smell it and I can't wait !

I'm in New Jersey and it's been one of the mildest winters I can remember.  I have played so much golf this winter that none of my golf injuries from last summer have healed.  I've played 18 at least once a week and practiced about 3 times a week the entire winter.  I think there was only one week that I didn't play.  I played more in February than I did last August when I was banged up and burnt out.

Montreal's South Shore, I don't expect to play before early-mid April. The dome, once a week, is my only outlet.

Sunday through Wednesday is supposed to go: +10, +8, +11, +10

I'm thinking (read: hoping) the driving range at Parcours du Cerf will open during that week.

Northern Minnesota, here.  Still snow everywhere, but we're looking at 45-55 every day in the 15-day forecast starting Saturday.  Getting excited.  Courses an hour south of us are talking late next week, already!

Michigan here. At least I got to scratch my itch a little bit last week when me and some buddies went to Orlando for 3 days of golf. It was great but also another reminder of how much I dislike winter. Definitely knocked the jones off a bit but still ready to play full time.

Great !

They renovated at the end of last year. There are shiny new flagsticks with distances measured from every booth now, which is pretty cool.

The administration has changed and I'm expecting better conditions this year, Namely, bunkers that aren't made from cement.

Michigander here.

Got out once in January and then again yesterday. Yesterday was warm but very windy so it made for an interesting round. The ground was damp which made the going tough on some shots, especially out of the rough. I was also playing with a guy who felt the need to give me pointers without me asking for them in the first place. What's that? 6 iron was the wrong club? Well we are both short and I am only 4 yards behind you so I guess your 5 iron wasn't the right club either. My friend needs to keep his head still during his swing? Well you need to keep your mouth still cause you are not my swing coach.

Shot +18 so overall it was not a horrible round. Lost some shots because of the conditions, but also gained some shots with the conditions. Lastly no three putts which is always a good feeling.
