I just pre-ordered a Size 12 in the whites on discountgolfworld.com- they exclude shipping charges AND taxes, but it's group shipping only so I will receive them 7-10 days after the June 8th release date. Cost was $179.99, and no doubt these shoes will take 15 strokes off my game and add 15 yards to my drives.

how do all the people know what size to pre order? i doubt they will fit like the old nike golf shoes and more like the free running shoes which run smaller

I am a size 13 and have owned 3 pairs of Nike Free's all size 13 with no size issue. If you normally wear nike shoes they are pretty consistant across the board. I own around 20 pairs of Nikes from basketball, baseball, golf, and running shoes.

My shoes just arrived! Wearing them as type. I wear size 10 in Nike Free 5.0s. I ordered size 10 in the Nike Free golf shoe. They fit perfect. I am so excited I think I am going to go play even though it is pouring rain!

On the Golf Galaxy pre-order, you can get the TW13 and apply code MDSAVINGS and get $25 off.  I am sure these are supposed to be excluded from the promo but I just put in a cart to see if i would work and the discount was applied.  Still get charged for tax and shipping though.

Hmm, looking at the Dicks Pre-Order page once I put them in my cart.  It says expected shipping is 8-9 weeks. That's like August 1st.

I just pre-ordered mine. I only found them at one place cheaper than all the rest so I had to pull the trigger. I'm not going to lie, I got a great deal!

Hopefully these will be as good as the running shoes. I've tried them on but will be interested to see how they perform on the course.

What kind of deal did you get?  How were you able to get them cheaper and what did you pay for them?

I pre-ordered them from a mom & pop shop in the back woods called West Georgia Golf. I always call and order hard to find or expensive items from them. They are always cheaper than the big box stores, even after shipping. I can't figure out how they do it.

I don't want to say what I paid because I don't want to get them in trouble, like what happened to Discount Dan's. Just call up there and I'm sure they will tell you the price. I always talk to a guy named Billy, ask for him.

I'm really torn on these shoes. On one hand, they have the potential to be the best walking shoes on the market. On the other hand they could look like clunky moon boots.

Anyone else feel the same?

yeah i know. but i don't trust their system at all. 1. nike said they'd release sizes 9 - 12 only medium. golfsmith system offers all sizes and wide. 2. at first shipping was set for 1. of june now it's been pushed back to the 12th. 3. from what i've heard nike will not produce 1/2 sizes from 11 up. so size 11 1/2 isn`t even available.
