Ultimately its just a towel, but a good looking, personalized and very functional towel.  I've bought two of them.  Now probably 10-15 guys I know have one too.

Agreed on the black also.  Not a deal breaker but disappointed its "dark" and not "black."

ya I stole a towel 8 years ago from a holiday inn and its the best. one 3rd wet the rest dry. I kind of like having that big towel. How does this towel honestly clean better? I mean i'm sure its nicer feeling than mine but come on if there wet then they will wipe off the dirt and I just use a tee on the grooves

Just got my Players Towels, and they look fantastic!

I'd have to say that the dark towel is almost black, no where near grey.

I ordered some black and white to see which I prefer, for me the black is tops... I'll be ordering several more know that I know which color I prefer.

Thanks Patrick!

Yes sir!  I'd say it's about as black as black can get... definitely not grey.  That's why I laid the black and white together, it would appear they've moved away from the grey'ish color.

I'm impressed, they are very sharp.

I just received the players towel and I love it! it stays wet the entire round, doesnt drip and weighs nothing, and not to mention cleans the grooves of your clubs very well.

my question is this, after a few rounds of playing with it it's quite dirty, what is the best way to clean this towel (i have the white one)

thanks in advance.

I grabbed the Club Glove version on impulse while buying a pair of shoes at the local golf emporium. It works great. Then again, the cotton towels with my club logo that usually hang on my bag work great.

I got briefly showered on during my last couple of holes Sunday and I will say the microfiber towel did a nice job when I got back to the clubhouse and wiped down the water on the outside of my golf bag. That's probably it's strong suit, comes in handy if it rains. In dry weather I can see any advantage to it over a plain cotton one.

My one dislike is the Club Glove one at least (haven't seen the other brand) is about 20% larger than I'd really prefer. Wants to hang down too far, a bit bulky to handle, bigger than it needs to be for a couple rounds of golf. I'd prefer it about 3/4 that size and maybe a couple bucks cheaper, in an ideal world.

Quick question, all the towels on their website have that cool, funky lookin font and i thought it looked similar to the graffiti font, but looked a little different when i put my name in that font, just wonderign if it will look like the towels on their site when its produced, and it just looks a little different when you do the sample??

Still haven't had the heart to dirty up my Bettinardi Social Players towel, but have a Club Glove Caddie Towel that I'm dirtying now and it's nice. $19.99. Supposed to hold 300% of it's weight in water I believe. Not sure I buy that, but it's a nice towel. Not sure I like the putter hole in the middle of this style of towels for when they're all wet. I feel like my bag is going to turn into a big sponge. Be nice to see a cart bag version too that will clip and hang from your bag.

I know this is an older topic but specifically talking about the size of the towel, what are peoples opinions?  I am looking at getting a few of these as wedding party gifts for my guys but 22 x 40 seems big.  Also do you guys find the slit helpful, more so not a pain in the butt removing the putter and putting it back?

Thanks for any replies,

I have one and do not think it is too big by any means.  I have the slit, although I do not use it alot as I use a push cart and just drape it across the handle.  I am not really that impressed with mine to be honest.  It is just a towel.  If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't buy one.  I did get my kids names on it and that reminds me that my golf score really isn't that important if I am playing in a tournament etc.  It puts golf in perspective for me.

You don't have to use your putter.  You could use your least used club, say 3 wood or something for the slit.  Good luck

I got one this summer and I like it.  I wouldn't say its head and shoulders above normal towels, but, the fact that its personalized is cool and I have always used microfiber towels like that for other applications.  I like them, thin, lightweight, retain water.

The slit is pretty key is you carry.  I don't put it around my putter but generally put 2 lesser hit irons through the slit.  I have lost dozens of towels while walking the course, this one made it the whole season due to the slit.

I put a carabiner through the slit on mine and attached it to my bag.

I was thinking of doing the same thing actually, it does not sit to low when you do that?

Question when customizing them on the site, and you choose 'flag' as the logo and you type in the flag name. (portugal for example)

Will the flag of portugal be embroidered on the towel.

I'm thinking of getting one of these as well,  does anyone have a picture of one with a flag on it, just to see what it looks like
Thanks been looking for a towel and I think this is it.

Look at their blog on their website...tons of sample photos. Here's one:

This is actually my towel. I was lucky enough to win a contest (i think it was on facebook) and they let me design any towel I wanted. Shot out to PT they make the best towel out there hands down, I love it!!

Makes sense, it would be attached near the top of the bag so should be no problems.

Thanks for the help guys,

I ordered a couple of black ones and the strange thing is that it looks more like navy, and my buddies black towel had problems with the color coming off onto his prov1.

I've had mine for a year or so, and it's by far the best towel I have owned. I have a few titleist player towels, and they are nice, but i feel like i should be using them after a shower!

I like having one side for my clubs the others for my face I went with the dark grey/black color with lime green accents

American flag on a towel that will be used to wipe dirt and who knows what else.
A towel that will be thrown on the ground.
Nothing like disrespecting the symbol of our country.
I don't get it.

To me, carrying something that proudly displays the American flag conveys just the opposite of disrespect.

If not, I guess we need to remove it from any and all football and baseball uniforms as well as any Olympic team uniforms that come into contact with dirt and the ground, because there's no difference between them and this towel.

I had this same question and I called their customer service phone # and they told me their artist does unique graffiti fonts for peoples names once they get the information and they just had to come up with a generic font for the preview and the online preview isn't an accurate portrayal of what the finished towel will look like.
