good luck selling these for $299 . . .

The 2-Ball retails for $299.  The other models will be $269.

I have already seen most of the models on eBay for BIN for $229.

They look really nice.  I am interested in seeing the #2 in person and I also want to find out if I can custom order one to play 35" with a 350g head.

I agree, wow.  I wish they went a tad heavier, 355-360g is perfect.  I'm glad the blades are one piece.
Looks sweet.

Tried these out at a local shop today.  They had a great selection of lengths (which is good since I play 33").  They feel very nice, love the satin finish.  They finish is very close to the Anser putters, but the difference to me was the feel.  I like the feel of the Odys just a little more than the Ping although I have to admit if I were blindfolded, I'm not sure I could tell the difference.  However, I still prefer the feel of last season's TD Black over all of the aforementioned.  Just a little less click is the best way I can describe it.

That said, I loved the selection.  The Anser heads are a little limited in that there are only hosel differences to view at address.  The Odysseys have enough variations in their line to please most.  The 9 sets up beautifully but just doesn't fit my stroke.  The 2Ball seems to get that well deserved battle promotion to their top of the line in a mallet form (as opposed to the T shaped blade they've tried in other lines).  All said, the one that fit me the best was the #7 (mallet w/plumber's neck).  Not a big fan of any plumber's neck putters so I quickly put it back since I rolled 4 in a row (my rule is...make 6 putts in a row, you gotta buy it).  Sticking to my TD Black #1 wide but I'd happily game one of the new Odysseys...if I absolutely had to.

They look nice, but nothing earth shattering. I can't quite see how they can justify the inflated prices on these.

I think I prefer the forthcoming Metal-X range actually.

Really liking that 330 mallet style.  I have one in the XG, White Ice and now will probably need a milled version as well.

Nice, but the price now is going to kill sales..............be all over the bay and racks for $150 in a month or two.

Strange, the protype's that we got in have velcro headcovers, not magnetic....

Those...look...very nice. Surprised to be taken aback by an Odyssey. One of my best putting periods was with an original 2ball (8/9 years ago?) - maybe the new one is in the cards to rekindle the magic...

Been gaming a studio stainless np2 for some time. In looking at putters lately I tried the 9 against a scotty del mar. Preferred the feel of the odyssey hands down. Did like the pistolero grip on the Scotty though. Price didn't put me off because I thought it felt better than the Scotty at a comparable price point and the materials and milling and finish separate it from the standard odyssey lineup and most other putters in the $150 ballpark.   Hope they do well with this putter.  Think ill take the plunge on the 9.  Only other putter that's got me interested besides this 9 is the Nike that tiger uses...dig the feel of that one as well for some reason...but don't see buying another np2/anser2 style. Lauren Thompson on golf channel is a good thing

I got the 6 now.  Best putter ever! Luckily the Callaway range here in Vegas gets things usually 10 to 14 days early.  Feels better than a Scotty and cheaper than a Betti.  Clean look with a great feel and roll.

The number 9 is very nice, think I'll be demoing one of these at some point. Also likeing the look of the Metal X #8, think this is going to be an expensive season, especially if they release a centre shafted #8! My Odyssey putter collection is growing!

I got a #6, very nice. Only been able to roll it on the carpet, but it's going to give my Black #8 a serious threat. This feels and looks so much better than the 1st or 2nd generation Tour Black #6s.

Rolled the #2 and #9 at GS today.  Really liked the feel of the number #9.  Personally had a better feel than the Black series for me, which I thought felt a little "dead" thus I never picked one up.  They didn't have many options for lefties so I had to test both at 35 inch, normally play 34 inch, so it wasn't ideal but still gave me a pretty good idea.  The #2 I didn't like as much but it wasn't bad at all.  I was comparing it to a 34 inch Scotty California that set up better for me but I liked the feel of the Scotty a lot more.  It was softer, and seemed to put a better roll on the ball.  I loved the satin finish on these though, and definitely liked the firmness of the stock grip.  Probably wouldn't hesitate to pickup a #9 if the price is right.

I got a chance to give the 2-Ball a whirl and it is incredible.  The balance of a nice high-MOI mallet with a crisp milled feel.  Really one of the best putters I've ever touched.

This would be one of the best putters I have ever seen. I am bitter that I am a chromozome short and play left handed!!!! Coomon Odyssey show some love and make for the lefties.  I bet if Phil wanted one you would make it.

Got 2 of the Protype 2 balls, but didn't opt for the fancy paint scheme (now I wish I did). Got one at 34" and one more at 35". Don't know why, but they didn't have any in 33" which I prefer. The reason I got two was because I wanted to cut them both down to 33" anyway. And since the 34" has a 360g head and the 35" has a 350g head, just wanted to see which one I could get closest in terms of feel and heft of my current gamer. Ended up with the 350g head, 35" cut down to 33". Have to say it feels really nice. Have always wanted to face balanced milled 2 ball. Only wish the finish was a little bit duller.

Might also try out the new Metal X 2 ball as well when it gets out.
