Hello everyone just wanted to share some recent acquisitions I picked up: Here some pics of Tour S, Tour 3 and Tour 4 all with TFxxxxxxx serials......  I believe there's some subtle differences such as the score lines from the Tour version retail to the Tour Version Tour Issued. First up Tour S

Anyone know why the Tour 3 has a "tour" in the grey section on the sole??  does it indicate a version 2 head??

Any difference in the Tour/tour and the one that will peoples posted yesterday??

Looks like the "tour" "tour 3" was COR tested also (dot in middle of face)... hmmm...odd...

The tour issue "RBZ Tour" i've hit was a Tour 14.5...there seems to be a handful of variations of these...

The Tour Issue  RBZ Tour 3 I posted picks of is 14.5 the Tour 4 is 17.5 and the Tour S is 13*. What I noticed is the Tour Issue Tour Head of the 3 has completely different head shape and different scoring lines. I'll find a retail pic and do a side by side. Also the S and 4 woods have TF followed by 5 numbers then a hyphen and 3 more numbers. Where as the 3 wood has TF followed by 5 numbers. Not sure of the significance but the S and the 4's last 3 numbers are the same. The head shape reminds me a lot like the HFS head shape. from the R7 days.

Well the retail TM RBZ  3 wood does have two head shapes (versions) the regular which is 15* loft  and the Tour  head which is 14.5* loft,  both retail. Not sure what Will posted yesterday?

well I'm not sure of the true loft on the Tour S but it's marked 13 and it looks to be a degree or 2 open maybe it is 11.5 lol

The lofts are near the toe on the underside of the clubs.

And thanks, TW, for the pics! I hope the 4 wood makes it to retail.

It looks like it is true that ALL TI clubs from TM will have scoring lines in the middle of club face moving forward? Do any of those heads look lower profile to you than retail? Thanks for the great post.

I received all of the new stuff fed-ex'd from TM-Carlsbad today which included the Tour 3 (14.5*) and the Tour 5 (18*) among both new drivers (each with the testing silver dot marked in the center), the RBZ Tour 3 Hybrid and two of the ATV wedges(originals not the chromed versions).
Anyway, mine look the same with the T1------ codes, same face grooves as shown here, wasn't aware of a different face. The only difference is that my clubs looked more like the TourS version shown here in that they did not have the TOUR in the indented grey area, only in the white area. All of the 4 woods came with Project X 6.5s. We'll see how they work after more work. But Fujikura has already sent me VC 6.2 Tour Specs to replace the driver shafts.
I will say that in measured actual on course shots that I was hitting the 3wd off of the tee within 5-10 yds of the drivers (without my Fuji shafts)in soft conditions that didn't have much or any roll. A friend of mine was hitting the 5wd one club longer than he was hitting his other 5wds (one is a 2011 R11, the other is a new Bridgestone that is coming out now). I currently don't carry a 5 wd, it would have to knock out a utility. A little tweaking and more work to do this week to make any hard core decisions.
(PS--the wedges feel sweet and the are very easy to bend, almost too soft! but that is for another post elsewhere)

Yes thats the one I really hope works well for me. It's a smaller head then the retail offering of same and it reminds me of my HFS. I'll just have to see which shaft I have works. It will be nice if I get 1/2 the extra distance TM is claiming. If so i'll be making many more par 5's in two. Last season I was finally getting my game back after missing golf for two seasons with three surgeries. now that I'm finally getting healthy again with this 3 wood i should be on the longer par 5's a lot more often then not.

You know you never know with TM. They are one OEM that we have seen in the past is willing to tweak woods/irons for specific players needs. i mean it goes all the way back to the days of Lehman Box toe 300's and even the  200 series fairway woods  they made for  Duffy Walldorf. Now it seems guys like Sergio, Camilo, and Retief get their own Proto's right down the line, Drivers, woods, irons and putters heck even Penta balls are different for certain players.

Thanks for the pics, Tim. Wondering if any of have problems launching this thing. I have a 14.5 with an old Altus in it. The head is pretty heavy, 219 grams and I am struggling to launch it off the deck. No problem with a tee, in fact it is like a mini driver to me. Just a few yards short off my driver distance.

Yes this winter has been amazing for the east coast. i've played since November..... when we usually shut it down around this area..... I've played probably 35- 40 rounds. I've been lucky enough to play or average 2-3 rounds a week this winter. Plus i made two trips one to Pinehurst and another to Florida and will be heading to Pinehurst on the 22nd of this month ( so I've got some quality rounds in this winter). Hope I get some rounds this week with the NEW RBZ's to see how they work and which will fit in my bag.... even though the temps won't show the yardage gains i'll have when it's 80-90* in the summer.

It has been amazing man...me and Benzo have been playing literally as much as possible the past few months.  My worry is that we might get a "late" winter and get pounded in March or April.   Praying I'm wrong!!

I hear you, I pray we don't get screwed in March/April  when our  GAP season starts. I always felt the GAP starts way too early  for Northeast area but that,s the way it's been for years and years. Yes we have been lucky. Where do you guys play in NJ?
