Joel, it seems like the 100 is a hybrid model since it's in TM Rescue graphics! Look great - can't wait to hear about them! Greg, thanks (as always) for being on the ball and getting us these before everyone else.

you are right like to see that there is a full range on these shafts. Also we might see shortly the return to graphite shafts for the irons sets also, over steel

can't wait to see what it's going to replace. On another note, I was told that Taylormade was going away from their graphics in 2012.

Only for the consumer model of "Tour" custom shaft options.  The shafts used on Tour for the PGA Tour players all have to have the T/M graphics.

kuro means black in japanese; like pioneer did with their line of plasma tv's calling them kuro elite, with black being the optimal selling feature of the plasma;

i assume mitsubishi is onto something with the line of shafts as well, as they have just announced a release of a high modulus carbon shaft for the japanese market in the 70,000yen price range or so.

I heard these are going to be the new, more cost effective Diamana type shafts.  Full line for the U.S. including hybrid shafts and all weights.

Ditto the affordability comment. In the current economic climate the upcharges some makers are asking are silly....there is no way it costs $300 or more to make a shaft.

All I know is that it uses a new prepeg material that uses less resin than standard shaft designs. This ends up saving weight and creates a lighter prepeg allowing for more carbon fiber density. They end up using 15% more fiber material in the shaft which creates more strength, better feel, and better performance.  I have NO IDEA the launch characteristics of the shaft but my friend put the hybrid shafts INSTANTLY in the bag and he never gets along with any hybrid shafts.

Woods come in 50g, 60g, 70g, and 80g models. Hybrids in 80g, 90g, and 100g.

HAHAHA- You are funny. So you know movies right? Here are some good karate lines.

"Fear does not exist in this dojo, does it?" Easy right?

"He's not an actor, I'm an actor, I know karate, I ___ him up!" This is one of my all time favs. I will give you a hint- "I got the touch, I got the power".
