Looks there were a number of that shaft floating around the players' hands. Guess they're starting to push it out to the players. Is that their "standard" style Motore Speeder graphics, with that textured look under the grip?

And yes, huge loss for Mitsubishi if he switches.

Wouldn't a 7.2 be black base color?

Yes I can confirm, I received the 6.2 Tour Spec from Carlsbad two weeks ago in the same "dress". Phil has a 7.2 X Tour Spec.

The non-tour spec 7.2 is good, but much to soft. I hope the tour spec solves that problem?

Razr Fit in these pictures, but last week in Phoenix it was the RHT. Guess he's still tinkering.

From all i've heard about this shaft, it would seem to be a good fit for Phil since it is pretty tip-stiff for better dispersion; his fast tempo will make it flex!

Anything to help my beloved Phil play better.  I also think he should go back to hats from visors. (not about helping him play better, just I think those look better on him)  Not too bad for Mitsubishi, does look a lot like a Fubuki so lots of people will think he's still playing it.

He is also tinkering with new iron shafts and at some point will be switching to KBS.

Phil has tried KBS previously and then ditched them.....
I personally think he should go to the New Project X PXi

It's his swing not the shaft that's the problem.

I want that shaft. I currently play a VC 7.2 X Flex but want the Tour spec version. Personally think Fujikura makes one of the best shafts out there.

PXi shafts would be way too light for a tour caliber swing. Most likely if he is going to tinker away from his trusty PX Satin's i would think it would be C-Tapers based on weight and flex.

Phil's not winning....I personally would like to see him change his entire sponsorship makeup.  I think a switch back to Titleist, or heck!...even TaylorMade might create some sort of resurgence for him.  I've seen lots of players benefit from a makeover and would love to see Phil win again.

First of all, the PXi are only ten grams lighter than standard PX in the corresponding flex and they swingweight exactly the same, so no need to worry about the weight issue.  Phil Mickelson does not play the PX satin's he plays the current, standard PX version.  You can tell based on the newer shaft label and the bright chrome finish is a bit of a giveaway.  have you seen him hit an iron lately?  That ain't satin.  And I do not think he will go back to KBS, left them for a reason and I cannot immagine him playing the c-tapers as he uses more mid to high launch shaft.  (Used the KBS Tour for a while, pretty hl) and his current PX are more mid launch low spin, work perfectly with his very late release.  I think his iron shafts are fine.  I would like to see a driver change though because I'm getting sick of seeing him hit 2-4 fairways a round.

good to see phil giving this shaft a run.  the 6.2TS is incredible - and could provide a huge dispersion advantage to the FUBUKI he has been playing.  this shaft is plain tight...  IMO best i have hit.
