Ordered mine from DD over a month ago.  Received a message this morning that they were shipped yesterday and will be at their new home tomorrow.  5~U, D2/D3, +1/2, yellow, KBS tour.

DD's said yesterday that Ping told them an order placed today will ship 15 February regardless of whether it's standard specs or custom.  Doesn't sound like much of a backup to me!

ordered i-20s 4-UW white dot, + 1/2", CFS Stiff Hardstepped once yesterday and was told they will ship out the 15th by DD!!!

Congrats to all you guys who will have their i20s in their hands shortly.  They look like a long term (what's that, like 3 months in WRX years?) winner!

I like both, but went with KBS. Flight was similar for me, but feel was smoother and the shaft is a bit heaver which I like. Spin was a bit less with KBS. I have KBS in another set so I also wanted to go with the same characteristics. Good luck

I've experienced the same with KBS vs most other shafts (smooth, less spin, nice balanced feel).  Sounds like KBS is still the way to go.  Thanks!

Mine shipped from Dan's  8.5 with a Graphite Design DJ 6x. Oh and the local Edwin Watts store has them in but cannot sell them till tomorrow.

I got an email last night from DD that my custom order (C-taper shafts +1/2" and white dot D2) expected ship date of 2/15/12.  If that happens, I'm thrilled.  I'm thinking I need some new wedges also, maybe some BV SM4s.  Look out ho'ing bug!

Anyone order Project X PXi shafts in their i20s?  And if so did you get to hit them before ordering?  I'm thinking of either going the PXis or the KBS tours any comparisons would be great.

When you fellas get your new sticks I would be really interested to get your impressions of the the wedges. I think the U wedge is a pretty safe bet I'm still on fence with ordering i20 S or L wedges, and if you have ordered with a custom grind even better.

I placed an order last week with these shafts... I have hit everything under the sun and think these are going to be great. I am a digger with a lot of power coming down onto the ball. I played the C-Tapers and found the original PX were more consistent and longer so I pulled the trigger on these to give them a whirl.

i20 4-PW PXi 6.5 w/ cushin (to get the weight where I am used to it!)

I emailed DD about my order placed mid-February for some Irons (4-UW, SW - green dot, CFS Stiff) and was told I will get an email from Fedex as soon as they ship.
I keep checking my email but no FedEx yet!

just talked with a Ping Rep. & he said my hybrids 20* & 23* are all boxed up & will ship on the 9th, so sometime next week I should get them. My local Pro shop has me an i20 5W so Im expecting sometime next week for that as well as my i20 10.5 driver with a Miyazaki indigo R61 shaft which Im having a professional club fitter build for me.....excited...... now if only our weather would corporate as it's turning back in the 20's here in Ohio...bummer

I picked up my i20 irons today. I ordered 4-U Yellow Dot, KBS Tour Stiff with mid-size grips the first week of January.  I've only been playing golf for about 8 years and have gamed the G 10s,and I15s.  I normally hit my 7 iron about 160 - 165 yards.  Today on the monitor, I hit the i20's 7 iron around 173 yds consistently (carry distance).  The launch angle avg 21 degrees.  I went directly to the range and all of my irons were about 10 yards longer than my i15s. The ball just flies off the face.  I can't wait to get to the course and see how the V1X's react.  These i20's are really nice

In the PING chat that went on today, there was mention of this by Ping that I think will answer your question. Maybe page 6 or 7. Pretty close to when Ping signed off. Have a look

Ordered mine today. 5-PW KBS tour stiff with a G20 4 iron, same shaft. They didn't have the i20 woods and hybrids out yet but he did let me take a look at them in the back.... They look pretty sick! He said they have the real project X shaft in them. I looked it up and it is a  $275 shaft! Was he right? Is this the real deal shaft or some made for version? Shaft alone almost costs as much as the whole damn club!

I hit the I20 driver today at GS.  It was nice - but not as straight nor as long for me as the G20 or even the G15.  Wasn't close to my RAZR Hawk...  But maybe it just sits too open for me?

When I called yesterday PING said that all preorders had been processed and shipped out Monday to arrive around the 9th.   I'd ordered on  1/28 and my order was already in route. Like the poster above I received a receipt with a 2/15 ship date.  Odds are you will receive them tomorrow or Friday depending on where you live.

I received my i20's just now. I am so excited to hit them tomorrow after work. I ordered them two weeks ago at the Legacy golf course (in Phoenix) and got a discount. The Ping van was there to show off the new i20 stuff.

My girlfriend said she ordered mine from a local retailer on Monday, 2/6...  had it in my hands on Tuesday, 2/7.  Damn, it feels good to be a gangster.   Would someone who's hit theirs or a demo tell me what they SOUND like?  I can't go to the range until this weekend.  Sound is huge since the SuperTri I've been using has always annoyed me.  It sounds like a college baseball hit and way too loud.

To me, more muted as I have a ST and compared them 2 weeks ago.......more of a straight fit  non MWT TM sound (SF TP 10 and 2.0, R510 TP R580XD Tour)

I think you will like it.
