I'm a 12 handicap - hit my current driver - Taylormade Burner 09 - 260 yards (without roll).  Driving is one of the best parts of my game.  Would the i20 driver be suitable for me?

First. Thx a ton for doing this PING and WRX!! I'd like to know about i20 hybrids. I remember hitting the g10 hybrids and how EASY to hit those were. Would you say the i20's are along those lines? Even easier??

Why is there such a big change cosmetically from the i15?  The ferrules seem unlike Ping?

Please elaborate on the forgiveness of the i20 iron vs i15.  Which head offers more forgiveness throughout the overall set?  Can't wait to get my set by the way!

Huge Thanks to PING for taking the time to do this.

Please compare the i15 driver and 3 wood to the i20 in the sense of launch angle and spin rates. (Obviously more neutral weighted)

Can we also have a face picture of the i15 3 wood VS the i20?

THANKS AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL IN 2012!!!

I am very interested in the i20 irons (most likely will buy them).  I am curious if your better players (Professionals and Top Amateurs) use one of your grinds for their irons or if they typically play them as is.  Thanks for your help.

Question:

I'm not a fan of the adjustable driver concept.  The adjustable woods I've owned I have always kept on the default setting.

What are PING's thoughts on the adjustable driver/wood concept.  Your products are all still fixed.  PING pioneered the custom fit clubs for the most part - you certainly must have thoughts on the matter.

Thanks!

I have already pre ordered the I20 irons....cant wait.  My question is I currently own a I15 Driver in a 11* with a fubuki tour 63ct stiff.  I currently hit my drives about 240.  The reason i went with the i15 is even though my swing speed would not validate it,   I just hit it straighter due to the low spin.  I hit 50% more fairways this season and shot my lowest scores all year, but on miss hits I lost some distance although it always seems to go straight.

Would I see a major improvement on miss hits in distance if I upgrade and go with the i20 using the same shaft.

Also with my i15 being a 11* should I go with a 10.5 or order a i20 digitaly lofted at a 11* to keep they same specs?

And Ping rocks I have owned a g5, g10, i15 and am looking forward to the new line...

Thanks Guys and Keep on roking the PINGS....................

My question is about the shaft that the i20's come with, the CFS shaft.

How does the i15 shafts (AWT) compare to the i20's CFS? Spin, Launch Angle and shaft Frequency?

I understand that the AWT are descending weight shafts and the CFS are constant weight shafts, but other than that what are the differences please?

I currently play the AWT shafts and have been pleasantly surprised on how it plays . I have i20's on order with CFS soft stepped in Stiff for now, even though the new PXi has my eye.

Which driver spins less, the I15 or the I20. The I15 spin is perfect. Not forgiving enough though.

Thanks WRX and PING for putting this together.

Q:  I read that the paint on the i20 wood line was "inspired" by Bubba Watson's matte black Mercedes and that a Las Vegas custom auto shop was consulted to get the proper formula for durability.  Can you please explain the paint process and why this matte finish is so difficult to do?

And how durable is the finish compared to your "normal" finish?

Thanks.

Thanks for doing a live interview PiNG!  Have always loved your product.

For my question: What change in the i20 lineup compared to previous versions are you most pleased/proud/excited over, whether cosmetically, technologically, or performance-wise.

Again thanks, from one who is still gaming an old school Anser putter.

Thanks for having this

I read or heard some where that the shaft options for the G20 woods were developed to give a wide range of fit options that if some one was between say regular and stiff then the tour regular would be a good fit for them. Is that the same in the I20 woods shaft line? If so what order would you recommend? I have hit the demo from the fit cart and find the 707 regular and the PX 6.0 to be close but they don't have a PX 5.5 right now I would go with the 707 regular but wonder about the PX 5.5.

Thanks again

Ping can you guys provide a matrix like Titleist does with the launch and spin properties of the various iron shafts you offer in relation to industry norm products like the DGs, and KBS, so those of us interested in trying the CFS can know what we are getting into?

I don't have a question, but wanted to tell the three Ping invitees that the 2012 line-up is absolutely the best looking Ping line-up I've seen since back in the days of the I3 and TiSI Tec when I was playing a full Ping bag.

The irons, driver, fairway, and hybrid are all fantastic looking.  Well done gents.  I'm looking forward to a local demo day where I'll definitely be hitting this entire line-up.

2012 is going to be a banner year for Ping on tour and with consumers.

One quick question about aftermarket shafts installed by ping, the 15 series drivers didn't have near the number of available upgraded shafts that most other major manufacturers do is that going to change in the 20? assuming you're staying with the .350 head?

TM, sandi, though not including the CFS shaft, you might find these two links helpful and interesting.

The first link is from the Ping data base comparing iron shafts Ping has offered:
http://community.pin...nowledge_id=431

The second link is a non Ping "closest shaft replacement" chart for the (iron) shafts Ping has offered: http://www.pictures.....co.uk/Ping.pdf

I've got a couple questions I'm hoping could get answered:

1) Of all the media groups that come through your facilities, would you say that GolfWRX is a) the best, b) your favorite, or c) both the best and your favorite?

2) In the aforementioned media group, who's presence is most enjoyable?  And don't worry about hurting Richard's, Todd's, or Ben's feelings.  They get on my nerves too, so feel free to answer truthfully. ;)

Seriously, I look forward to the chat.  You all have answered all the questions I could possibly have...unless you'd like to share some information regarding future products with us all!

Just curios as to why the ProForce V2 shaft is not offered as a custom option on the woods. That is the only reason for not considering The i20 driver at this time. I realize that other UST shafts are offered, as well as other high quality shafts. The V2 being tip balanced, along with it's consistent feel, make this my shaft of choice. It just feels right. I also like the added benefit of picking up a 1 or 2 swing weight points.

Thank You for your responses.

+3.

Please also elaborate on the specs of the CFS shaft including;

1) FCM rating on regular, stiff, and x-stiff
2) shaft stiffness profile on butt, mid section, and tip
3) who is the typical player that will benefit from this shaft? (ie aggressive swingers with late release benefit from PX)
