Got my new 910 D3 9.5 Project X 7B3 6.5 today. I know we talk about new stuff mostly, but I feel it necessary to pay my homage to the creators of this amazing club. Thanks.

I've got a d3 but may switch to the i20. It's like a d3 but with better sound. Great feel and looks to match.

I'm in the process of switching over to a D3 from a D2. It's been on order for about a week now and I'm starting to get antsy!!! I love the 910 line of drivers and woods!

Recently switched to the d3 with a RIP'd vs PROTO and it's a beauty! This will be in the bag until it breaks!

I love the 910 woods all across the board. Got mine when they were released and have hit most other woods out there, these work out perfect for me.Can't wait for their new line to come out late this year!

My 910 D3 showed up on my porch yesterday... Diamana Kai'li 65 Stiff in it

Coming from a 907D2 with a VS Proto 65.... should be a big upgrade for me

Give Will People's a shout. He has them in stock. It's a tour only version with slightly lower torque than what will be offered at retail. Or so I believe anyway!

I just pulled a Kiyoshi out in favor of the RIP'd VS Proto in my D3.  Going to be my setup for the season more likely than not.

I hit the I20 as well and loved it too, better numbers on the monitor but once I got the right shaft in the D3 it was over.

The whole 910 series is great, love my d2 and fd. Turned my game around, I'm no longer the shortest hitter in the group. I can now keep up and on a rare occasion outdrive the bombers I play with. I moved from a 909 d3 and love everything about the new stuff.

I tried to like it. It performed well but couldn't match the sound and feel of my SuperDeep. The D3 just felt soft to me.

I loved my D3's.....8.5 and 9.5 alike.    I ended up taking the 7c3 out of my 9.5, and putting it in my 9.5 9015d....instant gamer.    The ball just didn't jump off the face of the d3 like the adams (for me).     Great club though.   I really liked the 9.5 head with a 73s whiteboard.

If I wasn't such a ho, and started buying shafts like crazy....I'd probably still have the 8.5 D3/MRT Ahina in the bag.   It was by far the best off the rack/made for setup I've hit.

If you don't like the sound of the  D3 take the shaft out and put cotton balls in it. It gives  it that "thwack" sound.

I agree, bought mine last year and this is the first year in many that I'm not even tempted to try another driver.
I may experiment with another shaft though. ;)

I just bought one from my friend a few days ago.  I broke my old driver on a trip to Myrtle Beach and instead of getting a new shaft,  I purchased a new driver.  It was between the r11, r11s, rbz, and 910 d3.  I was hitting the d3 much more consistently, and was also swinging a little slower b/c it was the last club I hit and I was getting exhausted.  Only 5 yards shorter than the r11s which was my second best hitting driver.  If I can get my SS back up to match the r11s, I will be hitting it much farther with the d3.

How is the Claymore MX 48 treating you?  I have one on order.  Should be here this week.

What is your swing speed and how much did you tip it?

Was having second thoughts about my 910 D3 8.5* after a bad driving day. Went and compared it to the R11s. Was swinging much better and hitting the Titleist well again. Such a solid driver. Didn't care for the R11s at all. I hit it pretty good a month or so ago.  Still don't like the white head or the shape of the head. The 910 is so classic and sexy!!! 910 FTW!

I've only a half dozen or so rounds with my D3, but I have to say I'm very happy with it.  Ball flight has been a slight fade, but it has been consistent enough that I feel confident that the left side of the course is not in play.  Longer than my old r7 425, so that's a big plus too.  Solid club that I intend to play for several years.

Seriously?
How many?
Please describe the process. How do you get them past the screw?
What if I don't like it, can I get them out?

Take the weight out of the sole and stuff the cotton in through the hole.  It helps if you tear the cotton into strips/strands and don't just stuff the whole ball in.  Add as much as needed to achieve the sound you are looking for.  It will add some weight to the head, so you may want to measure out the amount of cotton you are adding.

Many/most of the heads have hotmelt/rat glue in them so getting the cotton out can sometimes be a small chore, but usually you can dig or blow it all out with a compressed air nozzle.

Very well.  I have a 92-93 swingspeed so this is a F3 flex.  Tipped 1/2" (that was per Aerotech for the Surefit sleeve.  I bought this shaft after going through a driver fitting last Januray where he threw this shaft at me and the dispersion was crazy low for me.  I was dropping the balls into a five yard circle on the FlightScope.  I could tell that a slight swing adjustmeent would probably help me get a little more distance (I was shorter in the MX48 than my then current Aldila/R11).  I've now had it for a month and couldn't be happier.  It's just as long as my R11, little less spin (I spin the ball way too much according to my fitting) and I still get the accuracy.  All in all not bad for a $80 shaft :-)

Good luck with yours!
