Lots of Buzz around the Callaway RAZR FIT driver. Early in the year but some claim it could win the driver of the year. Miles of Golf trackman testing with clients are claiming it is off the hook and hot. We will see as the launch continues. Love the adjustability. Here are some Pics of the FIT against last years RAZR Hawk and the titleist D3...

Here is the Callaway Press release...

Callaway RAZR Fit Driver for 2012

The crown of the RAZR Fit Driver is comprised of Forged Composite, an  advanced carbon composite material that Callaway developed over several  years in partnership with Automobili Lamborghini. Lighter, stronger,  more precise than titanium (the material used in more than 90% of the  current drivers in the market), Forged Composite allows Callaway  engineers to save crucial weight and precisely control the thickness of  the crown. These benefits give the RAZR Fit Driver a lower center of  gravity, making it more forgiving on off-center hits.

Callaway’s RAZR Fit Driver also incorporates a proprietary innovation  in aerodynamic shaping called Streamlined Surface Technology, which  addresses the complex variations in aerodynamic flow during a driver’s  entire downswing—from transition through impact. More than four years in  the making, Streamlined Surface Technology has reduced RAZR Fit’s  energy loss due to drag by 14% (relative to its predecessor, the RAZR  Hawk Driver), despite the addition of an adjustable hosel. This  contributes to increased ball speed at impact, a critical element of  driving distance. This aerodynamics technology is accompanied by the  debut of the Company’s new Speed Frame Face Technology, which combines  hyperbolic shaping of the clubface with precision thickness control to  offer a larger sweet spot. This new technology optimizes stress  distribution and increases ball speeds across the face. Callaway  engineers were also able to save weight by implementing this new face  technology.

The RAZR Fit Driver comes standard with a 45.5″ Aldila® RIP’d™ NV  shaft and a premium Golf Pride® New Decade Multi Compound grip. Already  in the bags of Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els, Alvaro Quiros and other tour  professionals around the world, the RAZR Fit Driver will be available  for all golfers for the new product introduction price of $399 (U.S.).

Great pics and comparison as always, Richard. Thanks.

What shaft do you have in there? Fubuki? VTS? TPHD? Any thoughts on how it plays?

I saw Immelman hit this thing up close a few months ago and the one thing that jumped out at me was the sound. Such a muted solid twack. I am a sucker for a good sounding driver.

Do you have playing position comparison with the 910? All other pictures are great....

So does the lack of a seam on the crown mean that it doesn't have a cup face?

STOP!!!

How come yours has a 10 gram weight when they come with a 12 & 2, I know because I have one!  I've been told there's no additional weights available yet... I guess you know a cooler guy than I know.

Interesting....... ;)

This one is tempting me for sure. Great looking driver which is rare from Callaway lately and a great response so far.

My word! It's just a thing of beauty. Really excited about trying this out. Usually I have been a bit sceptical of most adjustable technology but even if I don't really use that technology to its full extend the driver still looks awesome and has some pretty cool technology behind the composite construction.

Had an opportunity to use a Razr Fit for a number of rounds from a Nationwide pro's bag...  It is IMO the best driver that Callaway has produced in many many years.  Having had the opportunity to use all the other drivers that are new this year I can say for me this is head and shoulders above them.  It will probably kick my old reliable Rapture V2 out of the bag.  The only driver I have found that is longer is the Krank LD version.  I have an 8.5 pre ordered for February 17, which I hardly ever do..

Wow, sweet sticks there. I love the look of the RAZR Fit driver, even better with the white colour of the Fubuki series shaft. If only I can get my hands on one of those.
