Is the only place to buy them online the Oakley website store?

At this time, I believe so.  Not sure if that will change once they have been out for a bit.

I'll have them in hand today for my trip to Hawaii tomorrow. Can't wait to play a few rounds in them. I'll report back after 3 rounds with a review.

The Oakley store at the Fashion Show mall in Vegas has them so others might; great looking shoes!

How does the nano spike work?  It looks like a kitchen sink scrubber.  It is replaceable?  Send into Oakley or buy a new pad?

They look very cool.  Much more stylish than the True.  Oakley is about boldness and branding.  If you're not into blazing the "O" their products probably aren't for you.

The nhano spike is more like a gritty sandpaper and they are replaceable.  The guy at the Oakley store was able to pull it off with his fingers, but he said usually a divot tool works best.  He said the nanospikes would be available  to buy and thought they might be already out at Dick's but wasn't sure.

Tried these on at Golf Town the other day, and even though the 13 was too small, it was still pretty damn comfortable.  My only concern is how that nano spike stuff holds up once there's a bit of wetness. Anyone wear these out on the course yet?

I'm very interested in the shoe.....however, there's no way I'm buying until I know I can get replacement nano spikes......currently, my local golf shop only has the shoes.

How soft are the Ciphers at the top around the ankle(the lining?). My Nike's have edges that aren't super soft and when walking hills and my ankles sway to the sides I´ll get blisters there.

It's either the Ciphers or the Ecco Biom Hybrids for me. Depends on which is softer around the ankle.

I bought a pair. Very comfortable. BUT after playing only round one of the nano spike pads fell off. They pads are attached with a kind of velcro. The velcro did not come off, the pad game unglued from the velcro. After the second round three more of the pads came unglued. I returned them to the pro shop I bought them from and they refunded me. They told me they had sold one other pair and the same thing happened.

The exact same thing happened to me!!! 1 round in and 2 pads peeled off. Not the Velcro but the pad actually separated, 1 more round in and all but 1 pad did the same thing. I called Oakley and sent them back to them for a refund. They were very cool shoes, very comfy too but they need to go back to the R&D department on the nano spikes, pure garbage. This is probably why they say sold out on the website now, probably going to redesign the bottoms and re-release them.

Same thing happened to me after the 2nd round with them.... one of the pads came off :(
I called them last week and they are sending me out a set of replacement pads... I am going to email the rep to see if there was a recall on the shoes. I will update after hearing from them.

Any update on these? I really liked them and hope they change the pads to be more durable.

They appear to be the same as the first pair.... I walked 9 holes in the shoes...no issues
I will say for such a light shoe.... they are very comfy

Just got a pair at TPC Summerlin. I normally wear 10.5 in Adidas, but went a half size down in these.

I wear a 12 in Nike frees but wear these in 11.5. Perfect fit. On another note, these were recalled if I recall? Did they fix the problem with the red nano spike ungluing?

When I talked with Oakley Customer Service, they said no recall but they were improving the adhesive.  If a problem they could handle or send out replacement pads.

That being said, I just wore mine for 2 rounds and noticed I am missing 4 of the 6 pads!!  I am waiting to hear back on what they will do.  Really comfortable and I am normally 12 or 12.5 W in Nike/Adidas and went 12 (no wide available) and was fine.

I'll be trying mine out tomorrow on the range and again this weekend so we'll see how mine hold up.  Hopefully I won't be too busy checking the bottom of my shoes after every swing to see if I've still got the traction.  They are definitely a comfortable shoe, though, and I love the flexibility of these.

I'm eyeing up a blue pair.. How do they get on in wet conditions? And has anyone found out about replacable nanospikes?

I know you can order the replacement pads from Oakley's site and I heard they'd be available elsewhere as well.  The blue is bright--red is coming this summer along with gray I believe.

They are super nice shoes, I tried some on at work (I work in Golf Retail)....and they feel brilliant, so comfortable, so light, the grips on the bottom feel really nice on the ground over standard studs.

Only issue? They aren't designed to be waterproof so be mindful if you play in the early mornings or tend to hang out in the rough in the mornings...

Hmm yeah then the Cipher's are the best bet! So comfy! Definantely try some on! They aren't too expensive for cutting edge tech (as its advertised as)...in Australia at least they are retailing for AUD 169, so in the US they'd be going for better

Just ordered the all white ones today. Totally my style. I love the O on the shoe, but I've always been a fan of anything Oakley. I'm really hoping the pads hold up well. I usually play past noon and live in sunny southern caliornia so don't really have to worry about grass being wet, and if it is, I'll just bring the old Adidas just in case!
