My boss last summer owned 30 different pairs of shoes and as long as you wear white sox with white shoes and black sox with blak shoes it does not matter...those are word from my boss!

I own a white addidas pair and a black foot joy classic pair and I depends on how I'm golfing that day! When I golf alone I jog  in between shots an holes so the addidas are great otherwise for casual golf, cart golf or tournament golf I wear the classy FJ and try to look presentable!

This thread proves the fashion (clothing & shoes) world is still going strong.  Ten years ago, you would've had trouble even finding a white shoe outside of a traditional white/tan or white/black saddle.  Now, as you can see from the thread, white is dominant.  Just like 10 years ago you would only have found oversized, predominantly cotton clothing.  Now, you would have trouble finding anything not "athletic" (read: almost skin tight) or synthetic.   Yep, the fashion industry knows how to keep churning money by not allowing 1 style to last too long so that most are forced into buying new things!

I have three pairs that are in rotation, white with a brown saddle, white with black saddle and plain white.

I have a bunch of different coloured belts that are in rotation, blue, red, white, green, purple, black, brown, yellow.

I pick the belt to match the shoes, or if it is a whacky colour I use it with an outfit that it matches with.

I prefer black but I bought brown shoes for this year and I have to say that they are growing on me more and more. Same color as mud/sand so we'll see how well the color hides the dirt.

Like the looks of white shoes better, but usually buy black.  I mostly walk my rounds and white shoes get dirty quick.  I hate looking down and seeing a dirty shoe.

To me black shoes look "heavy" and I don't like to wear them anywhere unless I have black pants to go with them. They look especially stupid with shorts imo. Thus I have four pairs of white shoes.

I don't really wear black on the golf course because it just seems too formal for me and black athletic golf shoes don't look right to my eye.  I've stuck to white (shoes, not belt) the past several years but I wouldn't be opposed to a nice brown leather pair for the fall.

I wear mostly white during the summer months. Black shoes just get too hot but I'll wear them in the winter.

I've only played in my Nike running shoes, but I am thinking about getting a pair of golf spikes this year. I am going to go with white, since I feel they go best with shorts (what I wear the most). I don't feel the need for buying two pairs of shoes, since I will keep them clean (Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, it does wonders).

I am going to go with the Nike Lunar Saddle Golf Shoes in white.

Allen Edmonds - 2 pairs white and one pair brown alligator.  Best shoes I have ever worn.

Have a couple FJ Icons that I rarely use (mudders/practice) White with black saddle and white with lime green saddle.  Also a pair of ECCO tan shoes.

Have several other pairs in the back of the closet that I never use anymore.
