But, when I see white shoes with nice dress pants its reminds me of the early bird special at Denny's. How many of you get dressed up for work in dress slacks and a nice shirt and wear white shoes, other than for golf do they even sell mens white dress shoes? My point is that we either wear black or brown with our normal dress pants but when we go on the course we wear white, just doesn't make sense.

J.M. Olazabal always seems to be wearing the nicest shade of brown shoes I see anywhere. Wonder what kind of shoes they are. Changing subjects from golf shoes to dress shoes, men from Italy always seem to favor nice shades of brown for shoes no matter what color clothes they are wearing. To me brown is a much more universal shoe color than black or white.

I generally agree with this - I own them - but at the same time although I've never been accused of being trendy, saddles as most of us know them are taking a seat on the bench for a while.

Prefer to wear white, but not on rainy days..
Found that black shoes worn on sunny days tend to bake the shoe with your feet inside of it....
