Has anyone weighed one when empty? I know they list them at under 4lbs but I hear that is without the stand.

I wish the made an all white one with black font.

5.4lbs on the LIGHTWEIGHT  bag....you may be thinking ULTRALIGHT bag....its only 4.4lbs

The 2012 are slightly heavier than the 2011, but I truly cant feel the difference on my back when walking,
they fit MUCH better on push carts and ride carts, and they look so cool with the new design...you MUST see these new bags in person...

I had one of these well before 2012, I loved it at first, but the legs started seriously sagging, and they stopped automatically pulling back in and I had to nudge them. I got rid of it and snagged a Hoofer C-1. Like the C1 better but the legs also sag. Hmm...
I think I'll get the 2012 Hoofer or 4-series..

2012 Lightwieght legs don't sag at all on my bag....niether did my 2011, nor do any of the new Lightweight bags in our shop sag either.
If you buy one that does sag, take it back to the shop where you bought it and have it replaced, they should not/ do not sag when walking, if it is sagging, soemthing is wrong with yours.....just sayin'

I like the '11 one better.  I do like the stand though.  You would think by now they would make the drink pouch insulated.

I don't know about the Lightweights but I've had two Titleist bags sag on me...an older 2008 Premium Stand Bag that only had a year and a half of use, and more recently, the original 14 way stand bag (2010 model), also after a year and a half.

In my case, I think it's because the stand mechanism protuded too far at the bottom of the bag, and when I use a riding cart, it gets all jammed up and twists and turns, and the legs also gets pushed at weird angles onto the cart. Since Titleist/Sun Mountain redesigned the bottoms for 2011, I guess this isn't an issue anymore.

Though out of warranty, my 14 way was sent back to Titleist, as they've agreed to replace it. It's almost as if there's a huge conspiracy going all that all these products, golf or otherwise, always end up failing just past the warranty period. Posted Image

So true,
But thats another reason they developed the new "Cart-freindly-bottom's"....it has totally changed the carry bag problems for
those of us who RIDE and occasionally carry. I beleieve the older carry bags with the problem bottem openers were the cause of
sagging stands because of the damage to them when riding carts. Titleist seems to have solved this problem in 2012 with these new bags.!

Not only do they fit correctly and look good riding in the back of a cart, they are no longer DAMAGED when put in a cart, best of both worlds- a great cart bag and a properly designed ergonomic carry bag-all in one.

Here is the bag. I love how much room there is to take my clubs in a out. there is no problem trying to take and put in any clubs.

The color way is beautiful, the photos doing do it justice. I just need to get used to the straps it seems a little difficult to take the bag off and place it on the ground in one smooth motion, but a little adjustment in the straps and I should be fine. I am a fan of this bag and would recommend it.

Thanks again sting

Jay-
  sweet bag, its gorgeous!

The trick on removing the bag and settin her down to deploy the legs in one smooth motion:
I start by removing the left strap first, just a little bit. Then it will let you slide the bag off towards your
right side. The trick is, is to have your right hand on the very top handle of the bag, so when the bag slides off your right side, your hand is already on the top handle, you then are holding the bag in the air with your right hand, gently lower the bag tilting forward and let it deploy itself....Practice this motion..it becomes a one smooth operation, and is really cool once you master it. (Hope I explained it correctly).

Also, the top opening is so much bigger than my Ping Hoofer... Thank god!

I looked at one of these, really like the large opening at the top and the dividers that it does have are full length.  I bought a 2011 titleist premium bag and absolutely hate it, so much so that I went back to my old nike bag.  As someone who walks most of the time, the premium bag was just too big, yet the clubs still seemed the get tangled up.   The larger opening seems like it would help with that, but one question I have is when you load it up with your irons, do they all just bunch together in the top three dividers, seems like they would since the middle dividers are slanted, no ?

Orlando----nice bag!!!!, the orange looks spectacular.    Posted Image

jpaul155----clubs fit really, really good in this bag, a first for me, and ALL my grips are midsize-yup.

**  I think they have redesigned this bag, the opening is much larger, you can tell from the pics, but
also it seems they have made the inside diameter larger, and the dividers seem to be stratejically
postioned to allow even 14 clubs to fit ....with no problems- these bags are amazing.

I agree, the opening is MUCH larger, and the clubs seem to have a ton of room... Super impressed so far!

@ Sting'ray: Do you have any real life photos of the Navy/Charcoal/Ice Blue?

Has anyone compared this to the 2012 Hoofer? I have a brand new Hoofer that I am thinking of exchanging for this.

Thx

I was pretty disappointed with the 2012 Hoofer.. returned it, got a Adidas AG Strike in white for now.  Might consider the 4 Series.

I have last year’s 4 under and use it for walking and the range since I don't usually take all my clubs to the range. It is a great carry bag (best I have ever used). But it has it's downfalls. Very limited pockets and the grips always get tangled, like real bad. I have not tried the 2012 4 Under, but I know it is heavier than the original. I haven’t even take the Hoofer out of the box as I am not sure I want the white.

What didn’t you like about the Hoofer?
