I went to the club today, tried the RBZ Tour, hated it, so I spoke to my club pro, (not swing-coach) and he gave me the keys to his car, and told me to get his i20 out and go play with it, it was an 8.5 loft with the 707D S flex, what a bomber, I had a 300 yard drive on number 12, which I've never done before (205 in on a 507 hole)

And then the other holes are tigher and I used a shorter more controlled swing and it still boomed, looks like I'll be getting one soon.

I shot 46 on the back nine holes, (only played 9), with a nice 3 putt on number 18...

You say every driver that you have your eye on is a bomber! But I always knew you would end up with an i20. Going with stiff or xstiff flex?

Dead serious. PayPal sent. I was just so in control and confident with my pro's i20 so I just had to get it. Had to..

And yeah, I'm super exited, heard this is a really smooth shaft, I was hitting my pro's i20 and the ball came off really soft, and by the time my swing was done and my head came up the ball seemed to be almost landing.. Bubba long compared to my 910..

Which loft and shaft were you using? I was hitting the 8.5 with 707D stiff right on the 285 carry flag at my range, I hadn't been hitting as far recently and thought it was me, but with a lighter driver I got my boom back.. i20 is probably going to get driver of the year award.

It's just a coincidence that that's my size as well, no reason to get hostile.

Oh, Sorry man. I got some crap for that a while back and am obviously a little overly defensive on here..

I have been patiently waiting for my hookup to come thru. (50% off) When I ordered my s56 irons the i20's were not out yet. But I am jonesin like a crack head to get that same club. i20 8.5 stiff TFC shaft. The dudes down at my local shop are sick of me hitting it in the sim. Spent a good amount of time at a outdoor demo a few weeks ago hitting into a left to right head wind and was super impressed. I will give the hookup another 2 weeks and if it does not happen will drop the $350 for it. I wish I had one for this weekends tourney..... but I still get along with my r11 nicely as she does not know of the affair I have been having with the i20.........

When I do get it in the bag I will be all PING

I won't be all ping for a while... I'll go back to a normal putter eventually. And I'll wait for a better fwy wood to come out.

Played a little 9 hole four ball after school today, we shot 5 under, but there was a group with a little kid teeing the ball up from the fairway, so they had a very short distance into the green, they shot 6 under. I think our group will get it next week.

I used an R11s DEMO to play with today.. Not impressed.. Like it matters though..

I hope my i20 gets here saturday or monday.

Pretty good, still need some practice, but the roll is true and I'm putting better than I was before. Part of it might be the greens at my home course not doing very well.

I'm going to admit it I flip it, I cannot "flippin" stop, seems to be a few folks on this thread that know about the issues with associated with this swing flaw. I hit it plenty far but cannot control ball flight and becomes more of an issue in the long sticks.

Any suggestions and or drills would be great?  Thanks for any help given.

Try this as a routine when on the range for a bucket or so and see if it sticks..

Just go to the range and try to hit a ball without using your hands on the downswing, backswing normally, downswing with your body and arms, not hands, I do that to warm up..

Just because you don't lag the club as much as TW or LD doesn't mean you flip the club either.. It just means you don't have alot of lag, but this thread isn't a swing advice thread, there's a subforum for that. :friends:
