For those of you who haven't heard, in response to a tweet by Jason Gore, other pros and fans have been pushing for Gore to receive a sponsors exemption to the Northern Trust Open at Riveria. Tournament officials have taken notice and responded on Twitter that a decision on who receives the two exemptions is coming soon. It would be really cool for Gore to get one as this is his hometown and the event obviously means a lot to him. I, for one, am pulling for him.

I have been tweeting & retweeting to the @NTrustOpen twitter account.  Any GolfWRX.com members who are on twitter should be bombarding the @NTrustOpen timeline with requests to get @JasonGore59 a sponsor's exemption to the @NTrustOpen !

Jason did a great job with our chat & is now one of us.  Let's support him and help get him a sponsor's exemption.  Who knows, might be the tournament that gets him back up on the big tour and he won't forget all those who helped him.

Up to you how often.  You don't want to upset your followers who aren't into golf.

Up to you as to how often.  As for what to include  @NTOpen & @Jasonore59 for sure & say you would like to see him get a sposor's exemption.  Maybe ask your followers to "retweet".

Well it appears to have worked, Norhern Trust tweeted that in response to the fans, they have awarded Gore an exemption. I'm happy for him that it worked out.
