He, like us all, is no better or worse then anyone else, and should be viewed as such.

That might be a nice speech to give to a second grade class but down here on planet earth people are held accountable for their actions and their treatment of others. Mark Burk may not be as bad as an axe murderer but to say he is "equal to" good honest hardworking people (like the laundry list of people he has taken advantage of since the beginning of the pipe dream show) is simply incorrect.

Thrillhouse

Ironically enough I was interviewing an axe murderer for a paper this morning, by telephone of course! When informed of your comment, he simply stated, "Parole in 2023, you know where this Thrillhouse fella lives? That Mark Burk is a mooching POS!!!"

Had to clean up my keyboard after this one. Nicely done.

who can even afford to play on this thing? it's wacked out...california to florida to hawaii?  no way jose.  Nobody in their right mind can afford to play on a mini tour like that.

also, seniors who want to make the Champions Tour - C Tour q school only gives out a handful (3, 4) cards so you better be one of the best damn over 50 players in the world if you want to play.  No offense but really, stay an amateur and win your club championship.

I look at this deal a little differently.

You know what's worse than finishing dead last in a qualifier?

Not entering.

I'd be willing to wager that the majority of the posters in this thread have never posted a score in a professional or even state level amateur tournament.

It's a lot harder to criticize a guy when you have finished dead last in a qualifier, (as I have) and whole lot easier when you've never tried.

Just sayin..........

True to an extend. I have come in dead last multiple times in qualifiers so I do agree trying to better than not trying.

However, it's very hard to sympathies Mark as most of us in that situations are wise enough to not making it the ONLY hope there is, and walk around and telling everyone "I don't know how to do anything else"

So why do you think he doesn't have it? He just sucks in all facets of the game...or does he need to improve one or two parts of his game so he's at least contending for making cuts?

IIRC his wedge game was by far the worst part of his game.

Per Nik's request, I'm back and posting in this thread. I was simply over whelmed by the bumness (if that's even a word) of Burk.

Mark Burk and Martha Burk could put on a Reality Game Show to determine who has the least chance of ever playing in The Masters.

Dunno if this person is for real or not. But he's definitely got the typing yips.

It may be Mark Burk. If so, he has a right to defend himself.

Lol actually that's a good idea, a Golfwrx invitational matchplay with MB as the headliner. We could have WITB pics for the players and a WRX giveaway contest for travel and tickets. Hell TGC might even pick up the coverage and do a On The Range segment so we can find out what everyone is working on.

Well, it was strange.  The guy would claim to be Mark Burk but go third person "he" "Burk" "Mark Burk" and then use "I".
But, a Wrx vs Burk Open would be fun. He could probably even make a few bucks.  Naturally, there would be qualifiers around.  I'm sure plenty of us would like to compete against each other. See who really drives it 315 yards.

People could have to answer for their posts in person.

The OEM's would be happy b/c we'd all be buying new clubs to show each other up.

And, of course, a portion of the proceeds would go to charity, for the kids.

There would have to be very strict regulations regarding any betting at the WRX vs Burk Open. I don't think anyone actually wants to see any Tin Cup style Cadillac/RV fiasco.

I don't think "Betting with Burk" would be a good idea. He'd try to use his RV as collateral, then he'd never pay anyone, yet somehow end up at Q-School.
