Can't wait to see more over the next few days .. See what new stuff the pros are bagging.

Thanks for the pics.

Always cracks me up seeing pros hitting range balls off matts.

Can't wait for the rest of the week.

Maybe a silly question here, why are they hitting range balls off mats?

Amazing how many of these guys have alignment sticks in the bag yet you never actually see them using them in the pics. Bit like me haha!

Maybe the mats they are hitting off make consistent alignment easier? I see them used all the time on the range & have taken a ton of photos of the alignment sticks being used.

Saving the grass for the rotation range each day. Probably only 7 spots that they can move it back or forward. So on Sunday I guess they use mats. Not totally sure though, I'm going today though!!!!

Looks like Ryuji has a new sponsor. Also, do you think Taylor Made could get Brian Harman a new hat that doesn't have R9 graphics on it? I found that kind of funny

I watched Brian Harman (georgia) beat Rickie Fowler (oklahoma state) in the match play version during the 2009 NCAA Mens Golf Championship, this was a great match. Interested in seeing what Brian can do on tour.

Sunday was the last day that members were allowed to play on the course, which is why they were using matts and yellow balls. From Monday on it will be from the grass.

Anybody know what's in Harris English's bag? Looks like PING, 56's, Tour S's, i20 woods... more curious on specs.

Hi guys..it was a short day at the Sony today. Most of the players who were there and the Reps packed up early to go watch the football game.

Thank you much Greg! Your name was mentioned a few times today! :drinks:

The players were hitting off mats yesterday because it's an unofficial day. The course on Sunday is still being set up and like any other day. Sunday's are pretty much reserved for the Amateurs who are playing in the official Pro-Am on Wednesday to have their practice rounds. Any Pro at the course is either teeing it off like John Rollins when it's still dark to get in front of the Am's or just hitting balls...on the mats. By the way..if you look close, Rollins is the one wearing shorts and Nike Shox shoes. It's that CASUAL of a day at the course for the Pro's.

Ryuji Imada has the Fourteen bag. He recently switched over to them...but from the looks of it the only Fourteen clubs he had were the wedges. He had TM woods and Titleist irons.

BTW..if you see a Green Stand bag with Srixon's..that's Hideki Matsuyama the top am in The Masters.

I'll be back at the Sony tomorrow. Hopefully there will be a lot more players there. :drinks:

Was very surprised to see the pros hitting off of mats. They should be using the VJ Golf Mat!

You're probably right about the mats and alignment. Was actually joking about the sticks but it never comes across well on a forum! Unlike me these guys know what they are doing!

Quite an array of weaponry in Jesper's bag. I would love to see him get his game back!
