Is Mike still your caddy?  What do you look for in a good caddy.  Someone that backs up your decisions, or someone that makes the calls for you so all you have to do is execute?

1. Vision 54, Pia Nillson and Lynn Marriott's new book "Play Your Best Golf Now."  incredible book
2. I hear seriously constantly.  seriously

Two questions.

1. Are there any golf instruction books that you can recommend for us?

2. How many times each day does someone tell you "seriously"?

Yup, Mikey Christensen is my guy.  He's my best friend and a hell of a golfer himself.  Missed a 15 footer for 59 last summer.  He is great around the greens and really knows my swing and game.  We work out together, practice and play together all the time.  When the heat gets turned up, there's no one else i'd want to have my back

What is one drill or thing you do when you practice your short game that has really helped you get better? I know short game is the difference in going low and shooting an "okay" round. What is your wedge/ short game "warm up"?

By the way, thanks for joining us here- and best of luck this year, seriously! hahah ;)

swing your own way.  there is NO perfect way to do it.  repetition is the greatest thing to have in a golf swing.  trust, commit, and believe in your way!

chip one hand only.  get good with your right hand only, and then work on your left, for righties  once your good at chipping one handed, chipping with both hands is easy
my warm up is to really just find my rhythm.  smooth, and silky, wedges are the best way to find your rhythm for the day

Hey Kevin
I am going to try and make my high school golf team this year. Do you have any mental advice or drills that will help me get better in order to make the team.

When you made the switch to Wilson last year (great move BTW I play the FG Tours as well) what made you chose them?  Just the equipment, or is your relationship with the company important too?

i don't know a ton about John's proposal.  I do think that the ball is probably the most significant technological advancement golf wise over the past 10 years.  the engineers at these club companies are very smart and possibly got in front of the governing bodies a bit in regards to the ball.  However, at the same time I'm all about making the game as much fun as possible for everyone playing.  Everyone loves hitting it farther and straighter, especially me!!!

Sreels,

You-da-man!  What's your take on John Solheim's proposal for a ball rating system? Has golf ball technology come too far in the last 10 years to where it needs to be regulated?

Good luck this year. Would love to see you make a push for a Ryder Cup spot.

Thanks Kevin for answering all of our questions, but now I have a strange one for you.

A few weeks ago, there was a topic started about which Professional golfers look like other celebrities.  Who do you think you look like or who do you think looks like you?

I love the wilson irons, and wedges.  Additionally, the fact that WIlson is such a prestigious, Chicago based company made the decision easy.  They are also fantastic at responding to their players ideas and concerns.  The new V2 irons are built after ideas from myself, ricky, and Padraig.  Additionally, the new wedges coming out are world class!

Who are your favorite players to find out you're paired up with for a tournament? Are there ever times when you see who you're paired with and get disappointed?

Thanks for answering questions and good luck this year!

I've got two questions for you:

1. If you could add any location/course on to the PGA tour schedule, what would it be?

2.Can you get me and my buddy one_putt onto whisper rock? Haha gotta throw it out there! It'd be a hell of a 30th birthday gift

Thanks!

they were great stepping stones in my progression to the pga tour.  traveling all over the state with my parents are some of my favorite memories growing up.  they do a fabulous job introducing young golfers to the game and getting them into competitive tournaments.  The IJGA is great!

the lower body HAS to start the downswing.  either the left knee or the left hip.  NOT the upper body or shoulders.  that means over the top!

Hi Kevin, thanks again for taking the time to chat.

One of my favorite events to watch each year is the WGC Match Play. Is it possible the PGA Tour will add another match play event or is that something that will not happen?

Good luck this season! And the commercials are great!

1. Chicago needs a full time tournament.  We are losing the BMW this year and it's too bad we aren't going back for a while.  That and Denver would be great
2. My wife is all over me for having too many guests this offseason.  I'm sorry homey, maybe next winter  ;)
