There should be some sort of rule flexibility regarding putters.  I love my putter but I like to switch around the stable.  

I HAVE NOT YET...but even the pro switch putters during the season

This is why my 15th is another putter.
I did go to GG today for tees and I was shaking walking past the clubs. It must be the withdrawal kicking in.

I need a ruling. If I buy the exact same wedge as the one I play for practice only, is this a legal move.

I'm out.  My i20's have been on order since March 18th, still haven't gone to production and I got anxious.  I actually got an offer to play Quail Hollow on Friday and needed a set to play with.  Stopped by Golf Galaxy and found a set of new MP63's on clearance for $500.  For good measure a bought two new Nike VRpro wedges.  I hit the mp63's well enough that I may cancel the Pings on Monday.  The sad thing is I really thought I was going to make a run at it.

Thank you.  It was the best conditioned course I have ever played on and nearly as nice as the course down in Augusta.  Played the Green Mile at 1 under with a birdie on 17.  

I am going to keep the i20s when they come in.  I ordered them 1/2" long and think the Mizuno's stock length is too short.  I may reshaft the mp63's and keep both sets.

How in the world are your i20's so delayed?  My buddy ordered a set on March 28th and got them last week.  Direct from PGA Superstore.

Who did you order from?

I'm not sure.  I ordered them from my club after a Demo Day on the 18th.  I'm not sure why they are taking so long.  I ordered the Driver, 3 Wood, and Hybrid and received them the following week.  It has been very frustrating.  I know Ping is known for great customer service and claim they are working weekends to catch up, but this seems long to me.  I probably wouldn't have ordered them knowing it would take a month or more.

For the contest i have my DOT and my FT-IZ. Only problem is i only hit the FT-IZ indoors only and don't really like it outdoors so far.

I can probably stick with my DOT for a while though, it is a great driver

Yeah and my buddies were custom orders - and he them dropped shipped direct from PING.  I can guarantee you that your home club delayed it somehow.  I don't think it's possible that my friends sticks passed yours in the shop.

I'm pretty sure the order was placed right away.  The head pro will be back tomorrow and I will be stopping for a little talk.  Nothing special in the order.  +1/2" Blue Dot. CFS X-stiff.  Only thing I asked for was D3 swing weight.

Well I've got another friend who ordered them last thursday - I'll keep you posted because he was there when the merchant called PING (speakerphone).  PING quoted the merchant 5 days build, 3 days ship.
