Probably the cleanest and best looking GI irons that I have seen in a while.

Hey Easyyy,

Am I seeing these right, looks like the sole and top line are quite a bit THICKER to my eye than the CB2's?? Or just the photo's.  I have a back up set of CB2's and love them, but these look much more GI to me.

Cavity is a little busy, but they have a nice blade shape.  Sole grind looks interesting.

Interesting looking.  The only problem I have with Adams is they now have 11 different iron models.  How is the consumer supposed to distinguish between the similar GI ones?  They are kind of to irons what Taylor Made is to Drivers...

Wonder why they continue to forge 8620 steel.  Must be a cost issue to forge 1020 etc.

Reminds me of the TM Burner Irons with the two
tone finish.  Not a fan.

Love 'em! really interested in the turf interaction with that sole. the best part though is that when these are released maybe CB2's price will drop significantly! :clapping:

look very nice but certainly more GI than the CB2.  I am a devoted blade guy (especially to my protos, never giving those up) but actually considered the cb2's.  These do look a little bigger with more offset.  I've been wanting to try a GI cb with no offset but that's just got too much for me.  Hey Adams, can the CB4 be onset GI's available in 2-pw?  I realize that is ridiculous but if they made something like that I would buy a set in a heartbeat.  Oh and while you're at it, some onset blades in the black finish of the old pro black (gotta have a 2iron) would be amazing.  I'll patiently await your reply.

Looks like Adams made a good choice here, especially for that person who doesn't want hybrids and is looking for forged.  Great looking iron.

Nope. Bland, lifeless. A12's look awesome, but not the same category. If I had a chance to talk directly to R&D at Adams I would ask them what technology are they committed to in irons. In Drivers, FW, and Hybrids there is common technology with different implementations across the line. Ping does this which demonstrates their commitment to their R&D. With Adams (who I do like a lot), it looks like one iron design is from the US, another from China and another from Taiwan. I think they outsource their R&D and take design of the day.
Having said that, there is a bit of a progression on their sole design in the irons, other than that, nothing.

They look ok, but when is Adams going to move on from the black finish? They wear quickly and look lousy within 20 rounds.....I much prefer the satin finish that the a4's had....

Absolutely zero outsourcing of R&D at Adams.
