First, thanks for the pictures, easyyy. I know you had to drag yourself away from that beautiful Michigan weather to hit these! Love the head covers. Wish the 3 woods had FCT but, more interested in distance more than anything. This and the R11 S are on the short list....and the wedges....and the putters....and a TM Juggernaut bag....and white/green ATV shoes. Posted Image

Really like the 3 wood and its, relatively anyway, deep face. Don't mind the green at all. Looking forward to demoing these for sure. Thanks very much for the pictures.

Any idea on the lofts in the rescue and will they be doing a 17* 4 wood in the fairways?

The 3W looks a lot like my r11 TI with some Adams technology added with a speed slot. I can't get a sense for its' overall size until it's sitting next to something else for comparative purposes. All in all, since I love my r11 TI, this may have potential for winning that spot in the bag (TP version only, though). This releases may also make the SF 2.0 TP's a bargain now; which are plenty long in their own right.

Does Adams not have the "slot" patented? The F11 was too long, so I sure this will be close, Not sure about you guys, but I'm not interested in hitting my 3 wood 300 yards.

Does look very clean. I like it. I guess the aerodynamics but the burner line had no merit if they were will to dump it.

The fairway woods have to be better than the R11 woods. I didn't care for the R11's. Too heavy and sole plate dug into ground for me.

These look good. They seem pricey to me though since you don't get adjustability or are able to swap out shafts.

Double agree, I had one with a Kai Li 80 (now selling) and had the same problems the head was like 216 grams and should have NEVER been heavier than 210.

I picked up a cheap Superfast 2.0TP HD7 combo to replace it.

Does the rbz replace burner line?

Yes.

Article on a different website said that the R11 and Burner lines were remaining so I do not know what the truth is about the Burner line.

Nike has a slot as well but they call it a channel.  I would try the 3 wood as I do not want the bagel on the bottom of a club that will make turf contact.  I also like a smaller head and hit the 3 wood off the tee as well.

Basically a Burner with an adjustable sleeve.  If it performs as well as some say, it'll sell.  I bet the name gets changed and maybe the color scheme within 2 years though.  Rocketballz is embarrassing.

Agree. Do not like the name RocketBallZ.

Call me superficial, but I couldn't hit anything with the word Ballz on it.

And while the clubs look good and are likely chockfull of technology, I'll buy something else, if only because I won't support a product team that can't even spell a stupid name right.

Nike was the first to have a slot on the sole with the compression channel. Original VR driver in 2010.

Well, can't say I'll be switching...unless the TP fairway has a smaller head and the paintbreak (a la the SFTP 2.0 TP fwy).

And although I really liked my R11 Dot head, I'm just a fan of glued clubs.  For some reason I just think the hosel of a glued club (like the SFTP 2.0) flows better and the club as a whole feels better when struck.

I can't wait to see what the TP line looks like...

I love the white.

I love the green actually.

I think TM has done what they want: last year the color created tons of buzz...this year, the name will.  And just like the white last year, love it or hate it, that buzz will create tons of $$$.

The press release on Golf Digest states that the drivers and fairway woods are all made of stainless steel.  If that isn't a typo then it's interesting they didn't use titanium for the driver.

Predicting a bunch of bitching around here early next year from people who find out post-purchase that they can't elevate the 3 wood more than 3 feet off the deck.
