Big fan of 1 (Blantons) & 5 (B.H. its my go-to.) (1 is impossible to find around here.) I hope to someday have some Pappy 12 year. It's a dream not a very high one on my priority list but one can wish.

Pappy 12 year is pretty darn good!

My bucket list is 12 yr and 15 yr.

I would love a bottle of EH Taylor 4-grain but I doubt I will ever find that.

The part of Illinois where Iím at finding Blantons is like seeing a unicorn. And if you find it it, it will cost you close to $100

Was able to snag this at retail last night along with an Eagle Rare 10. I also camped out last weekend to get 2 bottles of Stranahan's Snowflake. It is delicious.

EC Barrel Proof is a great bourbon for day in and day out and can usually be found pretty easily at a great price. One of my faves. Couple of cubes of ice, let it breathe for a few and youíre good to go.

Any BTAC scores today? I struck out again for the 10th year in a row. Drove around all day and got skunked. Missed a bottle of WLW by 5 minutes at one store. Also, some idiot backed into my truck and drove away at one shop. Bout ready to throw in the towel on the BTAC pursuit, just gets more and more frustrating every year.

Basil Hayden dark rye is a good bottle

They have a holiday deal. 2 bottles for 67 bucks at Winn Dixie. My buddy is a pharmacist there and sent me the deal. Pretty good/cheap every day pour.

Yeah I wouldnít normally pay 50 bucks for it but 2 for 70 is a good deal considering you canít find eagle rare or Blanton as easily in that price range.

Some good scores in here lately! My liquor store isn't doing their release of rare whiskeys until after the new year. They usually get a pretty big allotment so I'm hoping I have some good luck this year since they do a lottery system based on points and I've spent a good amount there this year. I've been lucky enough to score a few bottles of Pappy years ago before it got ridiculous, and would certainly welcome another bottle, but there are a bunch of other rare bottles I'd like to try as well.

Huge thanks to Cobra and WRX!

Bourbon distro is so weird. Giant BT bottles collect dust at my local shops.  Meanwhile the south is flooded with $20 WRS bottles while northerners are paying +$50-75 for it. Iíll never understand it.

Jos Magnus just released their Cigar blend and it is tasty!  I prefer the original more, but no going wrong with either.

Found a very nice deal on Lock Stock and Barrel that I am saving to open on Christmas eve!

Finally found some Eagle Rare.  It used to only sell for 29 bucks.  I bought it for 39.99.  Felt like I was getting gouged.

Saturday a few of us were drinking bourbon and brought a few different bottles.  I tried the IW Harper.  Definitely was not worth 39 bucks.  It was ok, but in my opinion completely overpriced.

Tried some Blade and Bow.  That was pretty good.

This coming Saturday, I'm doing a Bourbon party and fire pit.  I don't have extravagant tastes but will have the following to offer:
1. Buffalo Trace
2. Eagle Rare
3. Elijah Craig Small Batch
4. Jefferson's Small Batch
5. Basil Hayden's
6. Walking Stick

I need to find a bottle in $30-50 range that is unique because everything I have is pretty basic.  Suggestions?
Cobra F8+ w/Rogue Silver extra stiff
Cobra F8+ w/Rouge Silver extra stiff
TM SLDR 5 wood Diamana 80 gram extra stiff OR Srixon U45 4 iron w/Rouge Silver 70 gram stiff.

Srxion 565 4-7 irons, 765 8-PW irons w/PX LZ 6.0
                           OR
United SSB1s. 4-PW. Shimada tour mid stiff.

Vega wedges, 50, 54.
Titleist Vokey 58/12 D grind.
Xenon Kutlass or SGC Norwood or Edel or Dave Curry Big Oak Havana

Had some Whistle Pig 10 year last night at a party.  Only my second time drinking it.  Man oh man it's smooth and delicious.  Tasted even better than the first time I had it last year.  Costco had bottles on sale for like $65 where I'm at in DC and I didn't grab one this past weekend.  It's like $85-90 in the regular liquor stores.  I might have to make a trip back there tonight and grab that bottle.

Old Ezra Barrel Proof.

Finally found some Eagle Rare.  It used to only sell for 29 bucks.  I bought it for 39.99.  Felt like I was getting gouged.
