i have the pro launch red stiff  in my G10 9* doesnt  launch that low but very penetrating after initial take off, 270- 275 yds carry , just had a G10 built as back up with fujikura e 370 that launches very low ,with very low spin rate , ideal for windy conditions , really nice solid feel as well , but i wouldnt say its longer in distance, just better in the wind than the  red.

Removed the Speeder 652 that was in my Titleist 909 D2, put in the PL Red S flex, tipped 1" (tipped since the 909 is non bore through and the 907 is a bore thru). The PL Red is the same shaft that I was fit for on launch monitor when I bought a 907 D2 last year. It just works for me, seem to be carrying it as far as before, but getting more roll out. My ss is about 105.

Truly a low launch shaft, with low spin, BUT really plays stiff. I think you should go down one flex, and definately don't tip. If you're used to playing to Stff, order Reg. X-stff-- go down to stiff. Other than that, great shaft-- does just what it is adverstised to do.

Great shaft. Basically a poor man's whiteboard. Nice penetrating flight and low spin.

My buddy suggested this shaft to me, and I'm considering it...

I play a burner 9.5, and with the stock shaft on it, my spin rate is approx 5k+ when I hit the ball.  My ball just goes up and up and upand just dies, like I had a sniper rifle and knocked it out of the sky.

Anyways, has anyone used this shaft with a Burner driver?

Pete

If your spin rate is over 5k you'll need a lot more help than the Red. I'll spare you the swing lectures i always see but you'll need at the very least less loft, a substancially lower  spinning head  and shafts akin to the whiteboard, vista tour etc. Maybe one heavier than you use now.

I had spin rates of 5k, and switched to a ProLaunch Red in stiff and the numbers went down to 2700-3000. The launch is lower, but not too low. This shaft is the low spin king.

I have this in a 4DX and love the way it plays. Doesn't feel too boardy and keeps my flight mid to low and nice and straight.

Replaced the stock Motore in my R9 Supertri with the PL Red and it really made a difference.  The lower launch and spin really goes well with the R9ST head.

just put a PL Red 65 x  in a Nickent 3dx RC 9* head. I just had shoulder surgery so I have not been able to hit yet but really looking forward to it though! I put this together as a backup driver to my R11 with a TP Blur with shotmaker in it. So it will be interesting to see how it compares.

Just got one on eBay for $19+ $10 shipping for a brand new one. Had to replace a Grafalloy Blue (which needed to be snapped in half at the moment). Pretty happy with that deal.
