Was wondering which golf shirts have nice snug sleeves. I just hate having the standard long and loose fitting sleeves that are so common. I usually just wear a polo style shirt but I am looking to get some dri-fit type shirts and wondering if anyone has recommendations on which shirts have the sleeves I am looking for. I have decent sized arms as I was a college football player, so if they are meant to be snug I shouldn't have a problem. Thanks!

I'm tall and lanky, and I found that Travis Mathew polos gave me a decently snug fit in the chest and arms that was very comfortable. This is in comparison to the usual billowy way shirts fit on me (cutter & buck) etc that becomes really annoying and means I have to pull the sleeve up before I hit. Those should be great...

I'd second the TM recommendation, but I'm not sure how many of them (if any) are 100% poly. For 100% poly shirts with good sleeves, consider Sligo.

Dunning golf has a slim fit line that has tighter/shorter sleeves, you can get them for cheap now on a couple of sites as well as eBay

I went to PGA Superstore and tried on all of the shirts. The formotion is fantastic, its trim fit everywhere. Nice snug sleeves, and also very tapered in towards the waist. Basically it feels like I am wearing a dri-fit/under armor shirt that I would wear while playing football - except it has a collar and looks nice.

I also give a big +1 to J. Lindeberg. Although the Lindeberg shirts fit much more like a Lacoste Polo. They have the tight bands at the end of the sleeves which is fantastic, and is also tapered fairly well. But I liked the formotion better because the whole sleeve is snug, and not just the bands at the end.

So basically if you have a very athletic build with broad shoulders and a small waist the formotion is going to really show that off - maybe even too much for a golf course. The Lindeberg is a much more traditional look while still being very snug on the arms for people that like that.

I tried Puma, Nike, and Travis Mathew as well and they were ok, but you would definitely have to buy a size down to get the sleeves snug, which make the rest of the shirt not fit as well. Although maybe there are different types of those brands that I did not try on.

RLX have shorter and tighter sleeves.  A lot of the Puma stuff I have tried on have ridiculously tight sleeves.  I can't even wear them without looking like I am trying way too hard.

I'm on the same boat as OP and looking forward to adding some formotion to the rotation. I tried a few on tonight and was extremely happy - they also seem like they'll do a better job of staying tucked in... such a pain when they don't.

Buy anything you want and take it to a tailor if they aren't snug enough.

For some reason all I could think of is this commercial.

Where are you located? The only clothing I've ever seen at Costco is for big, bigger, and biggest guys.

TJ Maxx and Marshalls sometimes have slim fit PGA brand golf shirts for $15. Good sleeve length and much more tapered around the torso.

I've found RLX, Sligo, JL, and Dunning to have the shortest and tightest sleeves.  After that Travis Mathew and Puma are too, but not to the same extent.

There's no perfect fit. I usually get a golf polo then go get it tailored to my liking
