I started a small mens club in the Long Beach area 8 months ago and am thinking of adding WXR's for some fresh blood. Currently stable of guys are Longshoremen, but I am not trying to bring on any more longshoremen because they started a union sanctioned club and I don't want to step on their toes. I currently have about 24 guys that are good for a once a month outing, with varying handicaps, but all are really good guys. I would like to cater to some low handicappers, but am open to anyone that has a good attitude and wants to play a nice course once a month. I have had good luck so far in securing discounted tee times for the club and good times. I charge only what I'm charged by the SCGA for maintaining handicaps and allow internet posting. I don't have anyone even interested in playing in club championship event. I do have two mini tour players, but they are hit and miss... I would love for someone to join that has the time and energy to manage an existing website and am looking for someone to help run a money game and is familiar with different money games to play as a group...Anyone joining would have a voice and would help mold the start up club, I have zero mens club experience, but a love for the game and a ton of positive energy. I am handicapped cetrified and have been to the TPP class. For an idea of the courses played so far here is a list. Currently, I'm working on an overnite trip to Temecula Creek Inn and eventually a once a year club championship in the Desert.
