Hey All, I'm looking into upgrading my current set of blades. I use Mp-33s right now and have been pretty attached to them. I am interested in the new 69s and was wondering if anyone has compared them or any other blades to the 33s. General thoughts or comments would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I’m looking at same thing. Any opinions on 33 vs 69?

Can't speak on the 33's, but I've played 4's and 69's, and the 69's are inferior. My least favorite blades I've owned. Fairly large and didn't the bill as far as "mizuno feel" goes. If you can, I'd definitely look at used Miura's.

I’m not deciding b/t the two, as I will have both eventually. I just want to know how they compare. I have 37, 67, 32 already. I want to try 33’s. I just bought 69’s but haven’t hit them yet, need to install shafts. MP 4 will be next, waiting on good deal. MP 5 are too much money right now. After I find a set of 4’s, might try MP 5 once 18’s drive 5’s price down. I’m frugal like that. I want a set of all the classic Mizuno blades for my collection. 9, 14, 29 on up. 87’s maybe one day too.

I think the MP-69 is a fantastic golf club. My favorite among the Mizuno line. I have them with Prjoect-X graphite shafts. The feel is just amazing!

Starsail,
How is the 8-pw progression on the 4 compared to 33 and 69? That is the one thing that drives me crazy about Mizuno, the short irons look terrible to me at address.

The JPX stuff just doesn’t work for me. I like simple blade/MB. Even the MP 5 is a lttle to busy for me.

33's are some of the best blades ever made. I played them for almost a decade. Literally wore the grooves off.
