I really like it as it was very good putter and rolled real nice. Made all 9 feet putts with this.
Since I like the heavier head, I went with the other model of Bettinardi with 395g head weight.
This was my 2nd favorite putter!

Can anyone tell me where I can purchase one? I do not think Golf Galaxy/Golfsmith/TGW.com sell Bettinardi putters.
Thanks!

I considered it a true test because no gimmes and the course is up in the mountains, it has a lot of mountain effect on a lot of holes so putts have to be hit true and solid.
First I would like to say that the specific putter I had was almost face balanced, I would say less than a quarter toe hang. It seemed to be at a slightly flatter lie angle than the BB27 I have to compare it to. If I'm not mistaken a flatter lie angle on a putter with a double bend shaft produces more face balance.
My second round with a SS putter from the 2012 line. What I first realized is I can see putter angles and lines clearer with the '12 line. I think that has to do with the finish being not as dark. I can see whether the putter is square better because I can see the cutaways in the cavity better.
The '11 line felt heavier for some reason as well. I checked the SS9 swingweight versus the swingweight of BB27 and an SS7. The BB27 (355 head) was 4swingweight points heavier, the SS7 2.5 swingweight points heavier. I didn't get to check actual length because I don't have a ruler but eyeballing them they all seemed to be 34".
The grip on the SS9 was I think a midsize version (could be the reason for the lighter swingweight). I liked it in the sense that it was thick in the middle but tapered a bit when it got to the butt. I prefer that feel versus the midsize like what is on the Sig3 which the butt and middle feel like the same size.
The feel is still my preferred "soft and dense", which I have only felt from carbon steel. The fit face adds more to that feel.
From address the lines are clean and white alignment lines against dark finishes have always been my preferred choice.
It seems to have softer lines vs the BB27. I didn't get to do any putt off since it was a tournament and only brought the SS9. If I had to choose I would take the SS9. It could be the modified fit face but whenever I use a modified fitface putter it feels soft without being mushy that I can charge a putt and know it won't blow 6feet by (like my insert putters).
So far my wish list from the '12 is getting more confusing.
I want the SS11 if just for the neck but from a "fits my eye" standpoint the SS9 seems to have slight edge.
