Nice.  You inquired the other day about my fourteen 770 irons. I have since sold Scratches and those will be my gamers. I haven't hit them yet. What should I expect? Will they be soft?

Btw, I'm Filipino too!

Hi again I kinda new you were Filipino from your handle. The 770's are still the best irons fourteen ever made IMO. Yours are the original mine are the 08 re issue. They tried to replace them with the tc 550's but the demand for the 770's was overwhelming that they decided to do another run. What I like about them is the Buttery feel and very forgiving. I have mine shafted with stiff kbs tours softstepped twice.

How long have you had yours? Yours look like they are in really good shape. Do they ding easily? Do you use iron covers?

I had them for a year bought them from my friend who used them for about 3 months. I do use iron covers to protect from bag chatter. As with any forged iron they do ding easily but as Ive said they are the softest feeling irons i have ever owned the only other set that could compare to them are my J33 combo's. I switch bags every 3 months or so.

I mainly use just the 52 and 58 I only use the 60 when I'm short sided or need to get the ball up fast and stop quickly. My home course has hard greens.

Can you talk about your game and give me some feedback on those GD shafts?  According to the charts they should get the ball up a little higher than the AD DI.  I have a DI 6s in my driver and love it, could probably even use a little higher launch and I've been thinking of trying those out.

Im a 9 hdcp. And consider myself a pretty good ball striker, although I do have consistency problems especially with the driver. I have always used stiff flex shafts for my woods irons and hybrids. I wanted to try x flex shafts to see if I could hit it straighter and keep the ball on the fairway more often. I've been using the dj6x on my driver for 3 months now and comparing it with my other razr hawk tour with an oban devotion s flex, I have been able to hit more fairways I've lost a few yards in carry distance but who cares as long as I keep it in the short grass. I tried a di6s in a razr fit 9.5 before and I got mixed results on the range and sprayed it on the course. I did notice that the di6 has a more penetrating ball flight than the dj6s but if you stiffer in flex ball flight will flatten out a bit. The dj7x is perfect for fairway woods.

Whats your driver swing speed?  Sounds like it might be the ticket for a 3 wood shaft, just picked up a 14.5 rbz and the stock shaft is garbage.  I'm a 1, good ball striker, got down from a 5 to start the year due to poor driving.  104 driver SS, 240/265 carry/roll.  I use a 10.5 nike vr pro.

Driver ss average 102 I love my fw woods I even have a razr hawk 7 wood also with a dj7x. I like my fairways to have a high ball flight especially of the deck and I can hit stingers with my 3 wood off the tee easy very versatile shaft.
