Nice gear.  How do you like the Oban?  Been thinking of snagging an 75 or 85 05 to try in my 3 wood for the heck of it.

If it's my wedge, I'll paintfill it and leave it raw.

Thanks.  It'll see if I can resist "tinkering"

Did you use sharpie paint pens or nail polish for your detailed (small area) paintfill on youe wedge?

I actually used hobby enamel paint.  I was a PITA process, probably took 2 hours to do the wedge, had to do one color at a time.

I like your creativity with your wedges. How do you like those RIP shafts in the hybrids?

The wedge with all the stamps was a custom job.  I can't take credit there.  I actually stole the idea from Sweet baby J on this site.

Are you loving the new shafts in your irons?

I'm in the same boat. Two kids under 4 though, but I'm 46 so it's a little tougher.

I think I'm going to take the badges off my 300's this spring. Nice bag.

I was think about getting the exact same driver setup. How did it perform compared to your old driver as far as spin number, distances, and launch angle? Whats your swing speed too?

Great clubs btw, love the stamping on the "Blake" wedge. Never would have thought to use different size stamping, but again love the look. Might have to do it to mine

I really like the feel and forgiveness for me...

As far as the stampings on that one, they were actually done @ Scratch, so I'm unsure of their exact stamps.  I was sent them a pic of another WRXer's wedge for them to kinda copy.  It turned out nice, IMO.

Just did the DYI finish on the new raw wedges..

Thanks,  They are Tour  Dept. Raw 8620 (essentially stock).. A bit more $ than their Satin Chrome, but not even close to custom cost.  Email or call Scratch, they can let you know cost depending on shaft/grip choice.  I ended up ordering a couple sets to try figure out my grinds/bounces...

I DIY finished one set Black Ox and one set Antique (Cold Blue & Plum Brown)

Nice clubs I would game everything you have.  How do you like the driver with the Kiyoshi.  I want to try that exact setup sometime.  I am just waiting for the MX 300's to be gone and a whole bag of Scratch irons to be put in.  I know that it won't be long  :partytime2:

I am going the exact same route... I think I will order 4-9 EZ S/S (bent 1* weak to fit to my 49* wedge and add a little bounce)

I really want AR, but I think the EZ's will look okay at address.. I would love to see side by side pics of the EZ's and MX-300's to cmpare looks...

I picked-up some lightly used Scratch TD AR1's 3-PW, had them spec'ed out for me (back to std. L/L +1/4"), had the Black-Ox touched-up, regripped... They are in the bag for now... Not 100% sure I have the game for them, but I'm gonna try... they were in fantasic shape! No dings to speak of (other than a little chatter)

The custom grind is right between a S/S and D/S.. Minimal off-set... These were originally built for rookie PGA player Philp Francis

That's why the have "CHISE" stamped on them... Philip "the Franchise" Francis

What do you all think?  One of the coolest things is the irons have a "stamped" # on the sole of the irons, not the standard Scratch #...
