Anymore feedback???
I do think they play nearly the same flex but I feel the lighter weight might make it feel softer. It's possible that it might be a fraction softer in longer clubs but I'm no expert.
I'm still liking mine's after nearly couple months(I think) and not looking to switch to a different shaft anytime soon. This winter has been mild which enabled me to play more often than I normally do in SW Missouri winters. I'm waiting for couple certain OEM's to start offering them as an option so i can try out a set or two.
My go to flex is DGs300 and think in this shaft the best will be a 6.0 PXI. The lighter shaft and higher flight of the PXI makes me want to error on the stiffer side.
I believe you'll be fine with 6.0. I moved into those PXi 6.0 from DG S300 shafts that I had been playing for a long time.

I wonder how much the spin numbers increase on the launch monitors.

This sounds amazing. These PXi are on my list of "must try's" for 2012.

Played PX 5.5 hard stepped for a season and hated it.
Playing KBS C Tapers in Stiff and not a fan.
The true temper site said that I fit into a PXi 5.5.
Can anyone comment? Should I stay in 6.0 or go 5.5? I'm liking the idea of the 5.5 since it is lighter than the 6.0
I hit my 7 iron 160-165. My driver SS is between 108-113, but I baby my irons. Stricker like swing on the irons.

It's very easy to hit, seems to be low spin, with a mid trajectory. I love it. This is one of my driving irons now. It's really long off the tee or off the deck.

I'll let you know how they felt vs my C-tapers ( esp vs 3 iron )
Well, played in a wedding scramble and played 18 this evening. I hit the CB 2i quite a bit with the PXi......AWESOME! The thing definitely launches higher than my 3i C Taper but still low spin. I loved the feel of the PXi. It felt soft yet active. I'm thinking of picking up another PXi shaft for my 3 iron.
As for the blending in with the C tapers, IMO they do go together. I like the firm responsiveness in the short irons ( C tapers ). I'd like to have that soft ( no effort ) long iron feel ( PXi ).
Please tell me I'm NOT crazy for mixing PXi's and Ctapers

Would also like to hear any views on this.
I am looking for a shaft that is a hybrid of KBS Tour launch but DG spin, any ideas on what I shafts I should be looking at?

i wouldn't say your crazy because golfers tend to do pretty crazy things, especially when it comes to equipment...as a club fitter, my school of thought is a combination between numbers, feel and looks (looks + feel = confidence) and therefor if something works for you and its putting up the numbers...keep it. On the stock numbers side of it yes you are crazy, but these numbers come from robots that are specifically designed to be exactly the same everytime (better than tour players)...the pxi and the rest of the px family for that matter are classified as mid-high, mid spin shafts where as c-tapers are undoubtably the lowest of the low in spin and trajectory...as far as feel and looks go, thats up to you
