JPX 800 Pro with KBS shafts. Best feeling irons I've ever experienced.

Great iron shots from the rough too, if that is a consideration!

Blades man myself that has made the change and won't ever look back.  Mizuno MX300 pro's and the 53's are amazing.  Also I'm a big fan of the Bridgestone J38 PC's and the new J40's look SICK.

Plus one on the J38 PC's. Great look and feel and as forgiving as anything out there.

I still love my j38's,but i'd love to demo the j40's-They look fantastic!!!!

I do not know if they are the best but the TM 300 forged have a great feel and are surprisingly forgiving. The thing that appealed to me as a long time blade player is that the look at address is very similar to a blade. There are still a lot of these being traded and you can find them in nice shape for a reasonable price.

Ez1s are real easy to hit, they can get a bit hooky with the offset in the longer irons but i think flattening mine and building my grips up a bit more well help me. If they're too big for your eye try ar1s or if you've got big bucks get some don white customs. The scratch irons and wedges are buttery soft even with x100s hardstepped which aren't the smoothest feeling shafts but not px hard IMO. Give em a look i don't think you'll be disappointed

Just put some Adams Pro A12s in my bag recently. They are a terrific feeling iron. Great combination of feel and forgiveness.

Anti- AP2 here! So many tour pros use Ap2s so i can;t see how you could go wrong with the right shafts.

Sounds like you want GI irons but if anybody is looking for a great feeling  SGI set try the Wilson Di11's.  I gamed those, Mizuno jpx 800hd and TM Burner Plus irons last year and the Di11's hands down felt the best.  Almost like hitting a forged iron.  I just didn't like the tight lofts in the 8i-GW so I got rid of them for the Mizzy's.
