However consider that too bright might be distracting. The DI 6 (orange and white); it looks dated now and always looked like an orange candy cane. Come on
So I would suggest a solid color motif with probably some silk screening of lettering or designation in the same color albeit it will a lighter shade.
a nice red candy apple or ferrari red would be rocking...but hey this is jut my two cents...

It is nice that most Graphite Design shafts are so recognizable on TV and on the range, like the DI/YSQ/etc., but I agree with the previous post that some of these shafts look a bit much for the average player, or even the modest tour player (i.e. Adam Scott going with white and black in the driver).
The YS series and Pershing series had the best paint schemes for the traditional player....while still being highly recognizable for GD.
