Interesting. Are more and more companies going to start producing these? I remember seeing pics about the UST wedge shafts but haven't heard anything further.

WHat can you tell us about these?

Yeah, what makes them special?  I don't think I need graphite in my wedges, don't know how big of an improvement I'll see.

I have hit both the Aldila Spin Stick, Accra SP and I have the UST proto on the way.  I have the SP stiff tipped an inch in a CG12 and I love it.  Great stability and wonderful feel. Not overly impressed by the Aldila.

I've got a set of the Aldila Spin Stick shafts, they are OK. The UST proto that I have feels really solid!
Interested to see how these turn out :)

I sure dont like the idea of getting into the same endless shaft fitting & testing routine as with my woods.

Guess I am lost , it's a shaft so what does Cleveland have to fo with it. It's a wedge shaft for Cleveland wedges I am guessing but Cleveland doesn't manufacturer shafts so who makes it?

What a sweet-looking shaft! Wonder how it performs. I've never used anything but a DG in wedges..

People bash graphite, but let me tell you, when you get a 90g+ shaft, it becomes hefty after a while.  In this case, 115g is still 115g.  Also graphite is not like the graphite from even 5 years ago.  The tolerances are much tighter and quality much better.  Face it, if you're paying $75 or more for a single shaft, it's designed much like it's steel counterpart, but the material, obviously, is more expensive.

TB your post is right on.  It's sad how narrow minded some people are when it comes to the modern graphite iron shaft.  They are nothing like the ones of the past.  Steel fibers perform just as well as any steel shaft out there IMO, with the added bonus of great feel and less vibration.  Btw, I like the way these Miyazaki wedge shafts look.  If they perform anything like the Kusula line, they will be an instant hit!

I haven't been overly impressed with wedge shaft technology.  I still prefer plain old S300 shafts in my wedges.  The Spinner and Hi-Rev shafts just launch completely different than I am accustomed to and since its not broke I don't see a reason to fix it.  While I'd certainly love to try out this shaft I'm pretty sure I'll stick with my boring wedge shafts.

All steel shafts are not the same and to think all graphite wedge shafts are the same is ignorant.  Now have I witnessed a great increase in spin as some manufacturers hint at, no.  I will say that the Accra SP is very stable and has a unique feel....
