Cleveland TA1...almost no offset.

You'd had to replace the gaudy writing on the back and sole with just a cleveland and TA1 though.

All things considered, it is hands down the Mizuno MP-32.

Very similar but with minimal constant off-set at .08 inches, a thinner sole and they were the last of the Hoffman Forged Irons. This is what Tiger played before marketing decided to sell a set with a T stamped on the toe.

The best part is Titleist offered a custom grind option for the 681.

Maxfli Aussie Blades were great, super sweet and after hitting them for a year super long, the metal was so soft and when I was younger I hit them crazy hard so the loft decreased. I think they were delofted by almost 4 degress. I still play the SW, the grooves are sh*t but I still like to hit around the green.

Ben Hogan Apex 2, see my topic in Clubmakers forum, just found them again, super classic design.

Mac Gregor VIP, Wilson Tour Blade

Mizuno MP27, MP32

MP 60's... not quite pure blades but they are just as workable as the 33's. Go ahead and play blades, I am a 1 handy and hated my Tp's, enough said. 60's are the iron of the century.

First off, this is my first post. Just discovered this forum and it's great. I look forward to being a regular contributor!!

I'm a bit partial to the MP-14s, since I've had the same set since college. In high school, my very first blade irons were the very clean looking, very underrated Callaway Bobby Jones irons. I loved the looks and feel of those clubs. Unfortunately, so did the guy who broke into my truck and stole them!!

Another vote for the Mizzy MP-14. I really like the Nike blades too!

I just got a set of Srixon Pro-100's, and they're sweet. I think they're going to knock my MP-32s out.

The sweetes blades I've ever hit are MP-29's and the hard-to-find nickel Mizuno TN-91's.

My favorite of all time is the Hogan Apex II. I beat the face off of 2 sets, and traded away a third, much to my regret.

The '67 or '68 MacGregor VIP irons being that Jack Nicklaus won so many majors with them.

For me, MP-32. Loved those, wish I never sold mine. Will probably get another set. Also had a love affair with Miss Mp29. She was hot too.
