College golf is abuzz about this year's freshmen class, which could be the most talented group in some time.

Two of them have started their career off with a win.

Golf World's Ryan Herrington caught up with Alabama's Justin Thomas and Stanford's Patrick Rodgers in his first Campus Insider podcast of the season.

Both are standouts at the junior ranks and it's nice to see that carry over to collegiate level.
