All hail Charles Howell. As of today Charles is my GolfWRX official number one player. This interview is AWESOME. I love his passion for the game and his description of the passion for tinkering (as we call it Hoin).

Charles says... "I love playing around with drivers, how couldn't you?" He then says, "We got so many great ones to try and test and I am always trying to get better. If nothing else I love the game of golf. I love trying equipment and I think its fun. Keeps it fun and interesting."

I just think its great to hear from Charles. Not afraid to say he likes GolfWRX and how proud are we to have Charles proud enough of his membership to say he loves WRX!!! I think its awesome and thanks to Charles and Greg Moore (WRX Staffer) for the time and the interview!!! Golf gods are on your side Charles!

Richard :)

Now here are a bunch of Pics Greg took of his bag in Vegas last week...

Sweet bag and seems like a good guy.  Funny he is playing such an old 3 wood.

Another great interview and pic series Greg! I really enjoy these but this is my favorite by far.  Charles seems like the proverbial kid with the key to the candy store.  Much like all of us would if we were in his situation.

Alright, this interview made me an official Charles Howell fan. He just seems to do and like the things I would if I was as good as him. :)

It is nice to see a pro with such a great attitude, and a love of clubs and technology.  It is interesting what clubs players ultimately choose or stick with, even with access to all the new tech and options.  The Ping must really be working for him, because he normally could go through a few drivers a season.  This is definitely the best interview yet.

3 sticks is a good dude. Always was the nicest guy he would stand and talk clubs at the international in denver. Just wish he'd start scoring and post some wins. Great interview as always.

I met Charles a couple times and what a nice guy. Very respectful and never an attitude like most players, very genuine. Tough to say why he has not won more? Would like to see him win a Masters or a major. His ball striking is as good as anyone on Tour.

I will be putting those 59's in the bag in the spring with KBS C Tapers how can you not??

Great dude, who will always give a candid and useful answer.  Been a fan of his, since I followed him at Reno/Tahoe in '02 when he shot a nice lil 64.  Great ballstriker and easy going nice attitude.

Most interesting part of the interview were his LM numbers....9-9.5 launch angle and 2700-2900 spin.  He knows he could get more distance with higher launch and lower spin, but he's not comfortable with that ballflight, so it's not worth it to him.  He knows he already hits it long enough.

Chucky 3 Sticks has a new fan.

He sounds like all of us if we were in his position. Launch monitors at home, tinkering with clubs and grips, etc.

Thanks for a great interview.
