I must admit I'm skeptical... A shirt that makes you feel more energetic? Reminds me of those 'ion bracelets' that strike me as being all in the wearer's head... But I'll keep an open mind till proven otherwise! :)

At $70 a shirt I'd like some more scientific evidence it does what it says it does.

Anybody tried one? www.wearenergy.com

All I can do is laugh....what they don't tell you is that this "increase in energy" is not near enough for the human body to even come close to recognizing.

These type of things always come out, and even though I know it's bs, there is something in me that wants to TRY it... just in case :)

It's placebo if anything... which obviously works for some people.  Heck it works for me with nutrition supplements!

I'm WAY skeptical! As far as game improvement golf gadgets, devices, and gimmicks...I believe I've now seen it all!

I'm even more surprised that a golfer as legit as Azinger would pitch for these things. Surely he's not hurting for cash! Or is he?

I just saw this commercial last night on the Golf Channel.  Made me want to jump off the couch and order before they were all snatched up.  Then I realized I was watching commercials and snapped out of it.

This is complete BS.  I will say I feel a little better wearing compression during a round of golf, but I definitely believe in the benefits of compression as it relates to moisture wicking, sun protection, maybe even bloodflow, but ionic energy? Junk.

Imagine if they could weave Zolex into the fabric of the shirt with perhaps, a touch of Enzyte on the sleeves.

But "Bob" from the Enzyte commercials doesn't need a "Hammer", if you know what i mean.

I think the green that you were targeting would explode in sheer terror and then create one of the largest sinkholes known to man....

Just saw the commercial.  Long time fan of the Zinger when he was a player, team captain and announcer.  What was he thinking?

They should change the name to Energy Shirts by Scotty Cameron.  Then they could double the price.

Seriously, what was Zinger thinking (besides $$$$$)?

Couldn't you just pour a 5 hour energy on ANY golf shirt and let it slowly be absorbed through your pores?

I'm trying it.

Hahah I see this all the time on GC. I honestly would not wear that. If you wanna try the technology buy a Under Armour shirt. I believe they have picked up charged cotton.

Charged cotton is their marketing name. It is supposed to be cotton that wicks better than normal cotton. Unfortunately, it is purely marketing as it doesn't.

Sorry for bringing back such an old post, but I wanted to provide some hands on feedback about these shirts.  I bought 20 of these last year for a golf outing I host.  They were bought, not because of the energy claims, but because it was a nice looking shirt and they offered a discount for purchasing in bulk.  This was before the commercials hit golf channel.  I found them in an email from the company that sells tour striker.

I am not going to claim to have felt more energy, played better, etc...  BUT, I will say this is a VERY comfortable golf shirt and the material allows for a full range of motion.  I just don't notice it when I am playing.  No binding in the arms, etc...  Just an easy full range of motion.  Also, the material is thin, which works great on the hot/muggy summers we have here.

The most impressive thing for me is how well the shirt held up.  Mine has been worn at least 30 times, both to play golf or on a casual day at work, and it still looks new.

Again, no claims by me on energy enhancement, but if you are looking for a very comfortable golf shirt this is a great choice.

If you wear an energy shirt, an energy bracelet, an energy necklace, all while drinking an energy drink - you're in danger of spontaneous combustion.
