Has anyone heard or seen anything about a new titleist driver for next year?

Def not new heads but I could see a change in the stock shafts offered. Usually the options are reduced and I would bet it's going to be the RIP

and to be fair, i love it that way. i pray that with the new ownership company of titliest they will never be like taylormade and come out with a new driver every month

if we look at Titleist's previous history, we'll see prototypes by fall of next year with a retail launch of 2013

They usually tweek the stock shafts by how many orders they are getting in the custom dept.

Well they were using the 910 at the 2010 open championship, so I guess might start seing a new driver at at annes?

They have simply added a 12 degree model to the 910 line for 2012.  Not much else going on.

I think Titleist really has a winner in the 910 line of woods. Hard to imagine a club that would be comprehensively better than this one.

They just need to fix the ferrule so it doesn't slide up the shaft on hot days and maybe a non black sole so it ages better -- especially for the FW and hybrid soles.

They are offering new shafts (the lightweight bassara or whatever its called) and I think they are offering a higher lofted head, but its still going to be the 910. Someone else had posted on this previously.

Originally the 910 series was supposed to be released for 2011 and called the 911 series but they felt that it wouldn't have been a good idea so they released it as 910. I feel that this series is the best drivers they have ever released and their options for shafts are great. Also the way they offer the shafts and not selling the surefit tips separately and giving you different head weights with the different shafts.

Every thread about Titleist turns into a TM bash and vice versa.

I agree with Aces-6 in that Titleist really has a winner with the 910 series.  It has a great look and feels good.  Going to be hard to top when they do release something else.

I'm not sure a Nike fan should be dissing any company when speaking about mediocre equipment.

What everybody is not talking about that Titleist was sold, so who knows the marketing of new products, in the past it has been every other year for new woods, but things may change.  TM may release alot of clubs, but there sales are best in the industry.  Well all complain about (or make fun of) TM but it seems that alot of people fall for the "new driver", including many on this site.   So I will be curious if Titleist does come out with new stuff each year now...Lastly, for the post regarding the 910 will be hard to beat, Ping had in my opinion the best line ever with the G15 and I hit the G20 the other day and that driver is better than the G15 which is a cult in its own...So who knows.

   didnt mean to get any TM guys panties into a bundle. I mean that as if Titleist came out with as many clubs at TM it would cost me so much more money. I don't care if you play TM, enjoy it. They have a nice line. It's just not for me. Every one relaxxxx. Oh and if ya don't want to know what Titleist folks say about TM, don't read the thread! Hope everyone enjoys the end of summer, it wont stop raining here!!!

That would be a good start.

The 910 lineup is fantastic, if they could ever find a way to offer all "real" shafts and not "made for" shafts they would rule the "player's" market.

I would love to see the GD DI series as stock, and perhaps the VTS.  Most of their pros are playing the DI, Axivcore or Diamana 'ahina it seems of late.

Will Titleist ever come out with a truly deep-faced driver? The D3 is deeper than the D2, sure, but still not what I would call a deep face.
Something like the 975 LFF on steroids?

Now is that really necessary ? I don't have any Nike clubs in my bag , but I have demoed their new offerings and they were nothing short of stellar. IMHO every manufacturer stepped it up this year and some of the good products lost to some of the other products as a result of hype/marketing/branding.

And Nike isn't the only one that is a shoe company...

Reebok is owned by Adidias.

I don't think we need to worry about any changes with Acushnet for the US market in the near future. The asian market is a different story.
