JP is no longer building for them, he has his own branding now.

Edel's wedges look very similar to Patrick's style. He must have left a lasting impression on them.

I had a chance to visit his shop, I think he is planning on offering an off the rack price point, as well as a completely custom price point.  Maybe $225/$295 respectively.  No sure though, I'm just a hack consumer, you should check with him to be sure.

I will tell you this, JP hand crafts each head with unmatched passion and talent.  It really is a remarkable product.

100% James Patrick wedges shown.  I believe he collaborated with Edel and Mike Adams on a wedge product and I believe that these are the end result.  JP's work is second to none, he has done several projects for me and they have all been perfect and exceeded my expectations.  See his "Project Carper" #1 and #2 to see what he has done for me thus far.   :drinks:

I'd say I agree with posting in regard to who actually designed these wedges. can include a link to previous images of same wedges from previous on this same forum to give proper credit if interested... 2011 PGA Merchandise show I believe.  Huh??  I believe James Patrick. ? Definitely a hand in it....

Edel wedges came from the collaboration from Mike Adams and David Edel. Our head shapes and grinds come from the studies of Top 100 teacher Mike  Adams and his research of what people need for there swing. We have a  complete fitting system around his findings.

We will have new photos on our website very soon. They are getting professionally taken right now. See a sneak peak of what is coming out Edel Wedges and More Wedges

James Patrick is very talented in what he does and he helped us to get product ready for the 2011 PGA Show but he is not with Edel Golf. We wish him the best in his venture, but I promise you will not be disappointed of what you see coming out of our "Hangar"

Forged Wedges are available now and cast heads will be available in early February after the 2012 PGA Show.

Visit us at the show in Booth 901

We have custom fitting systems in Hamilton Farm in NJ with Mike Adams and at our Facility in Austin, TX.

We have a few floating system out right now, 1 at Congressional Country Club, 1 at The Woodlands and the other in MetaGolf. They will be rotating every couple of weeks.

We will be launching all of our fitting systems in mid February 2012.

While those wedges look nice, they aren't really Edel wedges.  Those are JP wedges as others have pointed out.

Where are the Edel wedges?  All I see are JP ground wedges, stampings and shapes.  The only proprietary thing I can see are the grooves, which look shocking and I'm sure JP had nothing to do with those.  :busted2:

Who are you trying to kid?  Those wedges SCREAM JP from a few years ago. If I bagged those I would feel like I was gaming knock-offs.

Is it just me or do the ones in the banner up above look photoshopped?  Under the wings looks goofy like it was smudged.   Especially the blue one.

The wedges in the pictures were made by Edel Golf.  They have no association with JP.

Those are 100% Edel wedges, designed by Mike Adams.  JP has no association with Edel Golf.

If you check the facts, that is not true. Not designed by Mike Adams, 100% copied.

I know the facts, and Mike designed the wedges, gave JP every idea he has.  JP wanted to go a different direction and Mike and David Edel went forward with the line of wedges that Edel is now is selling.  There is no fitting system for the wedges JP makes.  Edel has a complete system designed to match the bounce on your club to your angle of attack, much like he has with putters, and you can find a fitter in most major cities in the U.S.  I wish JP good luck, but to say these are his wedges is simply not true.  It is a much better feeling and performing club that will be available in both a cast and a forged model.  Not sure what JP is telling you but its simply not true.  Enough of the sour grapes.  He should spend more time trying to build a wedge as good as the Edel, not whining.

You are the only the only one sour here and JP hasn't whined to anyone here, doubt he even knows this thread exists. He's too busy pumping out wedges to be bothered.
